Why was JackTheRipa banned? - Rape Board

Why is he banned? The forum becomes a scary place when members get banned for inexplicable reasons...

For all I know, I could be banned for asking this question...

He was banned after receiving his 3rd warning, this time for personal insults outside the Rowdy Room.

Nobody is banned for asking questions, only persistant rule breaking or spamming.
Second warning results in a week ban, third warning is a 6-month ban, any more and it's a lifetime ban.

If I'm not mistaken, he was banned here before and then allowed to come back. I might be wrong about that, but he does seem to have problems follow the rules of various forums. This is not the first forum he's been banned from.

You should not make generalizations. I am a christian as well. Have I insulted any of you?

Now as far as Jack, I have seeh him purposely test the boundries and the rules of the forum in order to start something. I wouldn't be surprised that once his ban expires he does the same thing again.

Oooooh…. a heated religious debate!

I think I know where the comment about Christians comes from. In my experience there are two kinds of churchgoers. The first is the majority. True believers who keep their faith private. I would say the Christians on this board represented this group (Christian rape fans?) but it’s the other group that tars Christianity with the “God squad, bible bashing arsehole” brush. Judgmental, argumentative and rude. They hold onto attitudes from the middle ages (literally) and refuse to have any kind of flexibility. People like this in other regions get called fanatics but because these guys have been around for a few hundred years they are sort of seen as representative of the Christian church, which isn’t the case.

Hope everyone can see where I’m coming from on this

Why did you need to bring religion into this in the first place, that is such a touchy subject that drags on and gets no where fast, we were talking about the banning of a member and you have to turn it into some shitty religious debate.

He could simply say that he didn't want to start it but why did he have to bring Christianity in it? There is no excuse.

Fact: I am NOT Christian nor do I go to church. I MIGHT believe in a god if he shows up in times of crisis for people, but I won't remove the possibility that he does in fact exist.

He says "Only christians do these kinds of things..." (paraphrased), which illustrate some sort of grudge against Christians, and so he produces a blanket statement which paint Christians in bad light, but of course without any proof. A comparable statement would be like saying that black people are dirty people because they are brown or black in skin. Because brown "resembles" dirt - or if one were to go far enough - shit. There is NO fucking proof in these kinds of statements and only show that the people writing these kinds of message hold some sort of blind and ignorant grudge against these people.

So, I'll ask again, why did you bring Christians into your otherwise pathetic argument?

2. Like I said, I'm only suggesting a possible reason why Jack acted that way. It turns out that it is christianity-related (not that I'm bringing it up intentionally to start a debate). If I conceived of other possible reasons, I would have stated them as well.
