I was watching some Chris Rock stuff on youtube and came along one called "Crazy White Kids", now while I did not watch the video I still find it hard to believe that racism is allowed to be a one way street.

Here's my example
"Crazy Black Kids"..... (wait 5 seconds) LAWSUIT!
"Crazy White Kids"..... (wait 5 seconds) ......... (wait a bit more) NOTHING.

So why do you think this is?

and for the record... I am not racist.

I hardly ever say African American. Just go with black and if anyone is offended then I just say "would you call me a White American?"

I dont like political correctness at all.

I play the minority card. I can be white when it suits me and I can be what they call "hispanic" when it suits me as well. And you better believe I pulled out the "hispanic" card when I applied for college aid and scholarships, and it benefited me greatly. For the record, I consider myself a white girl.

Oh, and its so called pc to use the term "hispanic". I will never call anyone of Mexican, Central American, or South American descent hispanic, because hispanic means Spaniard, and what the U.S calls "hispanic" are a bunch of indians that speak spanish. I use to be somewhat into "Mexican Nationalism" where they reject that term because they want to go back to their native roots, aztec, mayan, and reject their own blood of the conquestas who raped their land....well...I'm not into that anymore, but I still dont like that term.

Anyways...I dont know what my point was, but hope it was informative.

I SAID THE SAME THING!!! My teacher during that time thought I was nuts because I was the only black person in the class. I didn't have any hate for Imus, hell I hear the radio jocks or whatever they're called calling women bitches, hoes and whatever else when I turn it on.

At this point of my life, I only care about how someone is acting to me, I mean is there mutual respect or not. If there is respect, then I don't care about the colour of his skin or his hair or anything else. But I used to be a racist as a teenager, so I won't look down at someone telling me he is a racist. As long as he doesn't offend others, I will just think 'he is me 25 years ago'. Sometimes I like to joke about it, like I used to hang with a couple of black guys when I was working at the university and they called my 'pale boy' lol I called them 'shitfacenigga'. We were just kidding.

I think that is a good attitude to judge people as individuals and how they treat you.

All over the world people make choices as to how they will view and treat people. It is unfortunate but racism and hate more in general will always live as long stupidity is alive. People make it their life long mission to hate someone else because of their nationality or beliefs or anything that makes them different.

Life is too short. I see reverse racism in the USA but I don't care. I am a white male 39 years old. I see things at least weekly that I feel are either pointed out or the reverse racism for the sins of the past. Minorities get points based on being a minority for tests to get jobs for example.

Again life is too short and this not a perfect world. All you can do is your best to get along and do the right thing each day. I believe in karma and good things have happened to me for the way I have lived my life. Sitting around complaining doesn't get anyone anywhere.
