Ok, in my final few minutes on the comp at the local library, thought I'd pop in and say hi. Hope e1 is doing well. I currently do not have net access, or more accureately, do not have a working tower! OUCH I paid CompUSA 160 dollars to tell me that it's fucking broke and it will cost me another 300 dollars to fix it..bullshit...for that amount I'll just buy a new tower as soon as possible and transfer my harddrive! Well my time is ending in 2 minutes. Just wanted to say hey to members and mods! I miss you all! Later!

Unless the motherboard is nearly identical, you won't be able to move the drive.

Or, you can move it, but you'll still have to re-install Windoze.

After Win98 they removed that little feature. Most of the time with XP or 2K you'll get an endless series of bluescreens.

If it's just dragging 'cos it has spyware, I can help you get the original system up again.

Make sure you transfer the Hard Disk yourself, because they often offer to do it for you but then you'll have to leave it to them and they could watch all your movies !
