I think if we're going to have a "liberal" government, then cyclists should be subjected to the same legislation as other vehicle users. License, registration, road tax, insurance, mot. And perhaps the townhall tyrants should divert some of their resources away from Inspector Blakey patrolling housing estates with a micrometer and a clipboard making sure everyones bin is properly closed, and give the police resources so they can patrol our city streets and provide every single cyclist caught on the pavemennt with a blow to the back of the neck with a truncheon....

I've got a problem with the new wall post comment feature on FaceBook.
The wall-to-wall conversation was so much better, I swear they make it worse after every update.

Still it's better than myspace or twitter. Myspace is for kids, twitter is.......internet stalking.

Totally agree with this! A friend posted a question on my faceBook wall,I responded on her wall but then she responded to me with the comment option under my post on her wall.I didn't see it for like a week because it didn't show up on my homepage or in an e-mail update...Took me a couple of days to convince her that I really wasn't just ignoring her. F-ing Facebook!

Ah, so that's what happens. I use to get responses to the wall-to-wall conversation in less than 24 hours and ever since I started doing the wall-comment-reply thing, a lot of people weren't responding.
It doesn't show up in the e-mail alerts? Man, that sucks.
At least she noticed though, in most cases people never notice (especially when they have like 100+ friends).

I guess you can still do the wall-to-wall by posting a response to their wall. It won't be a wall-convo but they'll get the idea.

Oh well, I should drop this topic now since this is RB and we shouldn't be discussing Facebook...or um I mean FB.

I've got a problem with people who don't text back, e-mail back, or respond to IM.
(Seriously, if you don't want to be bothered, it only takes about 5 seconds to respond "F Off.")
