I borrowed this post (part of it) from Sanis thread, just removed the author and link, because it is not important and it is just an example. I perfectly understand, what was said here and somehow I agree with that. But ... it always make me smile a little.

Destroying other work ... that is, what (nearly all) the movie posters here do. We post films, which are not ours and someone created them for profit. And we call it (=uploading it and sharing with other people here and there) as our work. And then, when someone is reporting such a files, we call it - this looser is destroying our work.

That is just funny

It's like a robber complain about being robbed

Well, that is just thinking. I post it in rowdy room, so anybody can feel free to send me anywhere he wants using any word he wish

I don't expect any serious discussion about this, as there can't be any - it is just as it is

And yes ...
- I understand, how lot of work it is to upload a file and make a post, I tried it more then once
- I have disk full of not legal films, music and some software and my windows are legal just because I get them with my notebook
- I am very thankful to all that upload those movies, legally or not

And no ...
- I am not reporting the files

We are actually doing a favour to some of those studios we upload videos from. Might sound a bit weird at first but if someone uploads 3 movies from a studio that has done over 100 movies it is most likely that they will get more customers than lose any profit due the free advertisement.

Just one random thought from me and this has nothing to do with someone uploading most of the material from one company for free.

That may be true, but that is just too week argument

It is like - I'll download and watch this movie. There is no harm done, as I would never go to cinema to watch it

I understand what you mean, but I am afraid, there is much more people like me - who don't need to buy any such movie, cause they have plenty of them here (or else) for free

I'd may buy some, but it has to be really something unusual and special to me

To vindicate it a little, I would rather use an argument about preventing the real rapes - I really believe, that watching still new and new such movies may help someone not to do it in real life.

Just to add a small comment although I don't like to post in the RR.

If the one who reported the movies was a man from the production companies I could totally understand it. But judging from the mass deletions this is someone who just like to get the films and report them, so no one can get them anymore.

How do I know this? Simple.

a) Not all my movies were from the same production house.
b) How possible is it my thread to get visited by all those companies and my links removed the very same day?
c) Almost every one who posted even a single small clip got their links reported.
d) What is more possible :
1) All people from all production companies are monitoring this place every single minute!
2) We have a psycho amongst us.
3) Someone, for thei own reasons, is reporting our links.

I guess 1 and 2 are more possible than 1

Yes I know we are illegally sharing our stuff! And we shouldn't complain when our links get reported by the companies, cause they are loosing money. But in most cases the companies contact the board admins asking the illegal stuff to be removed.
Examples :
BrutalViolence
Natashe Flade
FunnyBDSM
etc
Even Chloe Vervier asked her movies and photos to be removed in another board.
That's what professionals mostly do!

And trust me if any of the production companies contact me and ask me to remove the links of their movies I would surely do it.

But I'm afraid we have to do with a totally different situation here.

Considering of who would be happy to make movie posters disappointed, everyone can draw their own conclusions.

All I wanted to say was, that Destroying other people's work is easy. sound funny to me in this case.

I expect the companies may contact the board and I know the admins will take the proper steps immediately. But I also think, those companies can't watch the whole web. Other way I can not understand why the Rape Server Full Collection thread is still alive

This issue seems to pop up from time to time on most forums such as this one. It's even more of a problem here because the entire forum, including the movie board is viewable to anyone.

I don't think for a second that it's all the work of one or two people, but beyond that, I've never known for sure exactly why this happens.

I've often heard the speculation about someone is getting their version of fun by first downloading something and then reporting it, but I remain rather unconvinced.

My personal belief is that it's more likely to be the work of some anti-porn, Jesus freak types.

However ... like most trolls who annoy members of a forum ... those people have no actual moral, ethical, religious (etc. ...) agenda whatsoever. They simply like (mostly because they have very unsatisfying lives) disturbing and taking away what others enjoy. Persons without any success in life, without any self-esteem, ... they love this little anonymity and power the internet provides them with for the lack of any in real life.

There is no reasoning with these people, so don't even try. They're just sad existences probably every internet forum has to cope with.
