To be quite honest, I watched my dad fade away with cancer and I wouldn't wish that on anybody, even my worst enemy.

Don't get me wrong I was never a great fan of either of then, so not having them in the press constantly would be a bonus, just not like this.

There is no way you can compare Paris Hilton to Diana.

Well how do you even compare them. OK, I take your point that neither should have got the attention they did receive.

The royal family have a long history and image but they are as relevant to me as the winner of a reality TV show. (ie. not at all).

But they are worlds apart. Using the logic of Jade's fame, this person in the first ever episode of Fear Factor should have gone on to become a celebrity.
