pillory? - Rape Board

Wondering if anyone has thought much about the advantages of a pillory. In case you don't know (and why would you), they are medieval punishment devices where your head and hands are locked up in the town square (generally positioned on your knees).

It is basically a humiliation thing. But, varied in degrees. Some people were beaten to death on them (not cool). Others, protected b/c the masses thought their punishment was unjust. Most people were just pelted with vegetables, spit on, etc. I guess it was also used for delivering public whipping.

Anyways, I've often thought about the potential for female punishment. People were left overnight. Who knows who would come out in the dark. Take advantage. Maybe everyone would wear masks. Afterwards, the punished woman (and her husband) would walk the town wondering who...

Just a thought.

I would imagine that most well stocked dungeons have something like this. Certainly it has advantages for the position of the victim. Breasts dangling and ready for abuse. Ass up in the air if it is done right. Maybe a spreader bar for the ankles to make sure everything is right in place.

Hentai games and anime, particularly those of the fantasy variety, feature the pillory employed rather often (usually mistakenly referred to as stocks) as a method of not merely public humiliation, but profound public violation. Such scenes typically feature members of high rank or royalty being used en-mass by everyone in town. At times, the women of an entire family will find themselves lined up and locked up for such an event.

I have seen some western artwork that does similar, but alas not yet anything live action.

For my own part, it's a touch too public. I prefer something more intimate. Still, has it's appeal from time to time.

having spent a little time in one while at a fetish ball i can tell you that from a guy's standpoint, the possibilities are unlimited! from my standpoint i couldn't believe just how vulnerable i was!

The nice thing about them is that they are easy to make. I made mine out of some oak scraps from a woodworking project. They are 6 feet long with eyebolts at each end. I rounded all the corners and edges with a router so there are no rough edges. I even took the time to stain and poly them.

They are very useful and lots of fun to play with.
