How to prevent file deletion - Rape Board

Okay so ive come across so many threads that look amazing yet all files deleted. The monica belluci one for example.

How about making all threads private. To gain access to a thread you need to provide a pass. This could be your username or whatever. You give this pass to the creator of the thread by pm or email or whatever. This will allow you to see who has access to certain threads and narrow down the deleter. Post fake links on the thread and the real links can be given in a text file by the creator upon request by pm. Just some ideas because its getting frustrating

Interesting idea, I've never seen any boards with that feature. That's basically like making everybody a mini-mod, if that was possible it might work.

I still think it's rapidshare. I visit a few other boards that until a little while ago had never had problems... now it seems links are getting killed all the time.... but just the ones at rapidshare.

Of course all the links to the russian scam sites work 100% of the time.

Interesting solution. If it's workable it would definitely be a step up from what's happening at present, when the links are almost gone before they're put up. Could mean a fair bit of extra work for the movie posters though...

The problem is, you have to store EVERY acces to the link in the database.
Mr. John Holmes says a long time ago "It's a problem of size"

After storing you must check every access against the deletiontime. Who can do that?

Next, if the Rat makes a little break between the link display and his "work" you hit the wrong user.

You guys dont get it, posting copyrighted material is illegal ON ANY fileshare service. It will be deleted ANYWHERE once its reported.

Look at the TOS of mediafire about that.

It wont stay up longer if you make it private as Crotch_Ripper said this is actually illegal activity.

It's not Rapidshare

I'm posting 50/50 between links with a post count of 300 and films without post counts.

Any guesses, for which set of links don't get deleted?

Private Section is the way to go, where if you want to view the movies, then you have to contribute.
