Friendly fantasy - Rape Board

Guys,

Have you ever loved a fantasy so much that it somehow became a friend, a presence, something that is always here for you, something you compt on, always ready to give you comfort and joy when you're feeling down ? I'm talking about a fantasy you don't even have to make for real, a fantasy you love just on the imaginative level.

If you have such a reliable fantasy, will you be able to get over the loss of it the day it fades away ? What will you do then ?

i start a new one! i usually have one ongoing fantasy story on the go at a time, sometimes two. when i cant switch off or relax i turn to them when all else fails.
saying that tho i did have one which was around for a very long time but when i stopped using it it took me ages to realise. obviously didnt need it so didnt feel any loss.

Do you feel that turning yourself to a new fantasy requires an effort to work yoursel in the right frame of mind or is it easy ?

usually if i'm considering turning to the fantasy i'm already in the right frame of mind. sometimes if i have so0mething on my mind and need to stop worring about it i'll use fantasy tho. that does take a bit more effort and concentration but not a huge amount, within a few mins i usually know if its worth continuing or give it up as bad try

You must have some awesome fantasies

Over the years I've worn out tons of them, I only worry during those times when nothing sounds good; nothing sounds interesting.

yeah i have lots of fantasies i wear out after a long time- then each time i think up a new one its a little crazier and violent........im always thinking up new scenes, believe it or not

(YES i have a lot of free time! leave me alone!:P)
