As a recovering alcoholic that understands your problem, I dare say that if I heard you speak, I probably wouldn't understand a single word. First there's your constant and most disgusting use of the most crude and peculiar British slang used almost exclusively by the English lower classes, second, there's the serious negative differential in intellect caused primarily by your use of alcohol that you bring to every discussion and thirdly, as a drooling alcoholic yourself, not even your own countrymen could understand your drunken babble.

Ah, but you're missing one important point. A little over 20 years ago John Major informed us that we're living in a classless society now, and since he was the 2nd best Priminister in my life time, I'm inclined to take his word for it.

Pity the rest of the UK hasn't cottoned on to this important point. If you ever visit though, you'll find that in the UK foul language is truly classless. We're all at it.

I have visited England several times. I enjoy the museums, the pubs, the food, the architecture and the many conversations I’ve had there. Possibly out of politeness to a tourist, I heard very little foul language. The last time I was in London, it was Remembrance Day. I still recall the 11th hour moment of silence. The noisy bustling city suddenly became hushed. For the first time that morning, I became aware of the leaves in the surrounding trees rustling in the wind. I was within earshot of a thousand people and there wasn’t so much as a whisper from anyone. It was one of the more meaningful moments of my life.

In any event, you surprise me. And, if you’re going to pick broken concrete cherries, try not to urinate at the same time. See, your British English isn’t all that tough to muddle through.

Actually, I was working with some cattle. Sunday, my son and I were in the pasture sighting in a new Czech VZ58. Our recently purchased Brangus bull took offense to our presence and charged my son. That blunder was coupled with the fact that I've seen him (the bull) topping three of our cows for two consecutive months. He was apparently shooting blanks and had a bad attitude. I sold him and bought a new registered Black Angus bull.

It's a bitch when life gets in the way of having fun.

BTW, what kind of cherry picker breaks up concrete? We use ours to hang materials from steel bar joists in commercial buildings. Is this just another example of two peoples being separated by a common language or an egregious typing error brought about by years of alcohol abuse.
