Anyone else do rape RP in Second Life? - Rape Board

I've recently started checking out the non-consensual RP communities in Second Life, and I thought it might be a topic of interest to some people on here. SL is a game where you can create a customized avatar, and there is a lot of adult RP to be found within the game. One common game is "Capture RP", which has a bunch of players tagged "Predator" and "Prey" released into a maze - the predators chase the prey, and once they've caught them, the prey can't move freely and the predator can RP what they wish.

I'm finding it to be a lot of fun so far - there's a distinct lack of straight guys, which I found surprising, since the men seem to outnumber the women here on RB. It's particularly good for someone like me, who wants fantasy scenarios with some visual context rather than pure text or pure video.

Anyone else here play the game, or have played it at some point? What are your experiences, good or bad? Do you find visual mediums like this make RP easier, or do they take away from the experience because no visual is perfect?

I play SL, and enjoy playing out rape fantasies. I used to run a group for it, but it was hard as hell to find decent players. There were many female characters (whether or not they were women or men in RL is unknown), but yes, most competent men stay away from rape fantasy. Apparently, while into rough stuff, if you call it "rape" instead of "force", it brings with it a certain stigma that chases men away.

I find also that with the visual medium thrown in, as well as scripted devices (such as Xcite! or Sassy products), that a lot of people forget what intelligent roleplay is, and are reduced to the typical "mmmm" and "oh yeah!" posts while watching their cartoon avatars fuck. At that point, they might as well be watching porn.

In conclusion, if there are any of you who like to roleplay such things, give the game a go. If you look at it as though it were a chatroom, there are thousands of potential players on at any given time (though the game isn't purely for sex) and with the groups there, you can find roleplay far more readily than in an online chatroom.

No, and yes... It's a totally free game, however, in order to make your avatar look more appealing to others, you have to spend a little. $10 USD is enough to make anyone look decent enough. Still, if you find purist roleplayers, they're not going to care what your avatar looks like, only your ability to enthrall them with your words.

I'd recommend it, justmetoo! I'm still trying to understand certain things about the game, but I can tell you that there are plenty of Maybe I'll run into one of you in some dark alley.

Is anyone familiar with the Gorean sims? The content from glancing at them seems like it might be fun, but I'm not really sure where to start.

Agree with Jackson. Gorons I have met are usually VERY limited in their detailed and descriptive role play. Ive seen few ladies in there that actually have good looking avatars.. most are default.. and I WANT my hot victim to look GOOD! Yeah, I am THAT shallow!

Give me a dark alley, an open window to peep thru.. with a sexy housewife lounging unwarily on the sofa.. while I sneak in behind her.. and I AM a happy MoFo!

Feh. Gor sucks... unless you're into clicking collars and enjoy the visual of a cartoon, only. The roleplay is far below par.
It's fine if you just want people to call you "Master", but for real substance, look elsewhere.

I personally recommend SL for rape roleplay while the majority of those that poplulate it can be poor in rp those who play there and actually roleplay well make it well worth the search for them when combiend with the visual aids the game offers to go along with the act

About HARP, since there's an old Home Invasion group in SL (not much active now), I went for Home Alone Role Play.
