It's been a long time since this board had any signs of life.

How the times have changed.

Anyone heard from any of the elder statemen of the board?

Seems like all the people that used to throw their weight around in this place are no more. This place is like visiting that old arcade on the beach after a hurricane....

I recall Hurricane Carla back in 1961. Even though we were about 275 miles from the Texas coast, I clearly remember the strong winds and torrential rain, then a quite clearing of the sky, and then strong winds and torrential rains from the opposite direction. We had no significant loss, but a neighbor lost a barn to a rogue tornado. We had no arcade. Hell, this is Texas. We experience a dire biblical event if we have a disrupted high school football game or a postponed execution.
