African cup of nations 2008 - Rape Board

African cup of nations will start after few days,it's the biggest championship in Africa,and the third in the world after Fifa world cup and Euro.

I think we will see exciting matches in this cup,some groups are very strong and the other groups maybe hide some surprises,and what's the team who will be the black or golden horse of this cup.

this is the thread of this cup,I'll put the groups and the schedule of the matches,and any inquiry or questions about this cup or teams or players are welcome.

Morroco have a good team in this cup,they have promisor players like M.Chamakh (Bordeaux),T.Sektioui (Porto),Y.Hadji (Nancy),A.Ouaddou (Valenciennes),and many good playes,and they have good coach "Henry Michel" who have big experience in the african football.

but they opportunity in winning this cup isn't high,even the first round will be hard for them,Ghana and Guinea aren't easy teams.

My Expectations

Group A: Ghana-Guinea

Group B: Code d'Ivoire-Negeria

Group C: Egypt-Cameroon

Group D: Tunisia-Senegal

The opening match was ended and Ghana defeated Guinea 2-1 by suspected penalty and by the deadly goal of Portsmouth player Muntari.

Cameroon are having trouble completing any training sessions, because their fans are so loud the players can't hear the coach.

Egypt defeated Cameroon 4-2 in the first match of the group C,the pharaons gave the lions a hard lesson in football,this match had many stars like M.Zidne,H.Abd Rabou,A.Zaki,Shawky from Egypt and only Eto'o and Geremi from Cameroon.
and Egypt played this match without Mido and A.Hassan,although the Cameroon didn't lose any of her stars.

Tunisia defeated South Africa 3-1 and increased her chance for crossing the first round.

surely I wish if Egypt won this cup for the sixth time ,but I expect Cameroon and Ivory Coast in the final.
