user control panel top left of screen...edit profile and one of top boxes is edit title....just type in what you want to appear!
are you ok with changing your avatar?

once your in user cp choose from option on left....edit profile. you with me so far? let me know at what point you have stuff missing.
once you have clicked edit profile on your screen should be a number of boxes. 2nd one down i think should say priv user. delete this and enter what you want to appear. scroll down and accept.
i always have probs resizing avatars so maybe someone else can add info here about that one?

Dash, try a google search for image resizing software..

i use Irfanview.
