Eh, its all good, my dating life sucks anyways.

I dont even know why it sucks but it does. Its not like I'm fat and ugly or stay in the house all the time. The only "date" I've been on since I broke up with my boyfriend was with this guy who is metrosexual or probably just plain gay. ugh! What do I do?

And dont say get rid of the rules! I cant even get a guy to talk to me. All they do is stare. Hello! I'm AVAILABLE!

I think all these rules are good, but extreme. I follow lighter versions of these rules. I NEVER call guys unless its to return their call. I dont make a date that very night or maybe not even the next day. I dont talk to a guy first.

Also, rules like "end the date first" and "end phone calls first" make you appear more mysterious. Which is a little manipulative, but why not?

I broken some of these rules before. I've met guys places before, which is no good, cause then they will expect it often. Breaking these rules will only leave you falling for losers.

FinalKey, do you actually expect a woman to pay for herself on a date? Or meet you somewhere or pick you up???

Anyways...these rules are for woman who are sick of dating losers and want a man who will love them more than the woman love them. Thats one piece of advice I recieved. Make sure the guy you marry loves you more than you love him.

I think these rules are common sense and good guidlines for any woman. I dont recommend following them closely, but just keep them in mind.

actually, i can understand weeding out the losers etc, but make sure the man loves you more than you love him??!! That doesn't make sense to me, surely if your getting married to him you should love each other equally, that is to say with all your hearts.

I'd like to advice the women to don't follow all this damn rules,following most of this rules will make the woman like the boring stupid machine.

Every woman should follow what she see suitable for her and the current time and the kind of men that she want,not all men are alike.

I like Rule 11. --> Let Him Take the Lead. Beyond that, if I'm interested in him, I can show it and he'll know. We'll both go from there.

Most of the rules sound like you're trying to pin the guy to fit a certain mold. That's not fair to him. Or.... it's you trying to be something you're not or playing some "oh, I'm hard to get" game. That's not helpful, either.

Just be honest. And don't work so hard to avoid a little spontaneity. If the chemistry is there, who cares what day of the week it is if he asks you to go somewhere? If you like him, go. If you don't, turn it down. Anything you do that's calculated to make a deliberate impression that isn't how you really feel or think is only going to send the guy mixed signals.

The best approach, I think, is let yourself be who you really are. If you don't.... the most you could hope from even a promising man is ending up with someone who's too predictable, too easy to manipulate, too desperate to act like himself, or too stupid to have around all the time.

The goal should be finding the most COMPATIBLE partner. He'll fit in with the real you. And he's the only one who'll make you happy.
