Page Load Errors and a minor Time-Quake???

No PM's for another 40 minutes from this post. Clock is FUBARed again.

Could someone please xplain all the recent crashs on RB? No deep dark secrets just kind of a brief what happened. This is twice in almost a month Ive had 7K or rep wiped out, not to mention over hundred posts.

I understand the site is free for the users. But frustration is setting in for all Im sure, to have everything just POOF and thats it.

My thought was that they don't have a properly regulated and surge protected power supply where the server is... Simply guess work based on the Ukraine location.

When I first logged on ADMIN was here, but no notices were posted.

The real victims are the Movie Posters and the Role Play people of course. A lot of work was lost.

My sympathies.

Hmmm... I don't remember who I Repped when, but I have tried twice to + Rep people tonight and was told to spread it around...

Seems like an odd coincidence. Maybe I'll Rep some strangers.

This latest time RB was attacked by hackers. The backup was a couple of weeks old, but let's be thankful it wasn't several months old!

If nothing else the spammers seem to have found us again and are working diligently to restore all their posts! You could always rep them for their hard work

That's fucked up! I tried to come here twice to find it was down and twice got an attempted hack or infiltration warning from my antivirus software. So when they hack the site do they just tear it down or are they able to gain access to any information we have here, email/IP addresses and so forth???
