I have a problem with trying to hook my Xbox 360 to Xbox live.It's telling me to check to see if i have other things hooked into my IP and other stuff i don't understand.....It's driving me nuts...i want new songs to play for my Guitar Hero World tour damn it...

Speaking as one of those uneducated, mongrel, bastardized etc. citizens of America, I feel it only fair to point out to you that 4 out of 5 linguists agree that we here on this side of the pond actually have retained a more pure version of the "Queen's English" since the founding of the colonies than you folks over there on the original island. Furthermore since it was my distant ancestors that had to come over to your island on a regular basis simply to give you folks something complain about, it may become necessary for me to once again spur my current relatives to take to their long ships and revisit your home to deliver upon you a sound thrashing.

This will allow for you all to revisit upon your children the wisdom of "God save us from the fury of the Norsemen". This level of carnage will have to suffice for the time being as we here in America have no troops standing idly by with nothing to do. We firmly believe that idle hands are indeed the devils tools and so seek to keep our troops occupied around the world in visiting with native peoples in many different lands {and of course killing them}. We have no need for colonies in any event as we find puppet states to be much more convenient to have around {and far more entertaining to watch collapse after we leave them with a banner reading "Mission Accomplished"}.

I suspect the solution would be for Americans to call their language either Old English or American, and let our far superior English evolve in it's own way. I take your enemy of the state point though, we have a similar problem here. It's called political correctness.

Like most peoples coming to ancient Britain, with the exception of the Romans and Normans, the majority of Danish visitors were settlers not raiders. They made a huge contribution to our cultural, agricultural, lingual and religious make up, many of our names and place names are Danish, and there are huge pockets of population in the Northeast that has Danish genetic roots. So before you go getting too proud of your Viking raiding roots Mr Rat, those Vikings were mostly daisy chain weaving farmers!

The Normans WERE Vikings, they had just settled on the northern coast of France. Yes actually much of Europe owns at least a part of their culture to the Vikings as they spread their influence all the way into what is today eastern Russia and as far west as North America, establishing cities and trade routes. The initial forays were always about plunder hence the danegeld, but the succeeding voyages often did bring more traditional folk as the Vikings began to set up permanent settlements in the lands they visited. It's actually rather ironic that all my ancestors fought constantly over that little isle called England, both as invaders and as the native peoples.

My uncle died yesterday after three years of suffering from Cancer of the Larynx.

The past month he could no longer speak through his stoma as the cancer had taken over and he had a feeding tube inserted into his stomach. The man defied all the times being told he wouldn't make it. He was supposed to have died in December but he pulled through then the first week of January the doctors said he wouldnt make it to Sunday, so they stopped feeding him or giving him any water and just heavily sedated him to take the pain away. His tongue was pushed out of his mouth as the cancer was growing rapidly and the doctors said that he would either die of suffocation or the cancer would push into his brain and he would bleed to death. He pulled through that Sunday and Monday night he was watching Eastenders so they began to feed him again.

The past week, he did begin to detiorate and on Friday they stopped feeding him as his bowels had collapsed and yesterday he gave his final breath in his sleep.

I have a BIG problem, i hate fucking cancer.
