Is there a diminishing return to the rape fantasy? - Rape Board

Just wondering what otherÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s think. You start off with basic Ã¢â‚¬Å“boy rapes girlÃ¢â‚¬Â, in all its varieties. You know - different characters, different places. Then that gets old. So you added some forced oral. Good stuff. But that gets old too. Then you add some anal maybe. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s kind of gross (IMO), but different enough. Eventually you add some gangbanging and something and something and something.

As things loose its shock value, is it harder and harder to find pleasure in the good old rape genre? Or do you just march headlong into the abyss of ever degrading delights?

Diminishing returns, loss of novelty value, familiarity breeding contempt - call it whatever you like, it's true for pretty much everything in life.

When I first got into rape fantasies, I'd get hard at rape photos with obvious over-exaggerrated facial expressions from bad actors/actresses. Many years down the line now, now my hard drive contains most of the widely-available rape movies around, it takes a good quality rape film to have the same effect.

MKP4 - you're quite right, as 'vanilla rape' loses its novelty and shock value, it gets increasingly difficult to achieve the same level of stimulation from the same material.

(Having said that, do keep the rape movies coming!

no, rape fantasies for me are not about tests of extremety in sexually deviancy....

they are thoughts that i seem to keep having and can't get rid of... some of which turn me on

PG - then you're lucky. I don't think people mean for their fantasy to evolve and include more shock. It just seems to end up that way.

I've learned to slow mine down by focusing on details. I think it gives the brain more satisfaction. Beats me though .. I barely know how to tie my shoes.

i never understood why some feel it's neccessary to write/say "i dont think" right before stating an opinion

it's coming out of your mouth/head, so obviously that's what YOU think

and i never understand why some speak on behalf of "people" , isn't that just a way of indirectly referring to yourself?

It's to tell people that it's an opinion, and not a fact.

Eg, "I think rape is exciting" means that's my opinion, and may not be shared by others. "Rape is exciting" makes it sound like a fact, even though it's me stating my opinion.
