Venting Part 2

To continue my venting:

Here are some idiotic comments I have encountered when searching on-line for a roleplay partner:

1) The guy insults the virility of my husband.

I don't know if he thinks he's being funny or amusing or what. I think he's a jerk. They don't know my husband. He's a good guy.

2) They tell me that I really do want to be raped in real time.

No one woman wants to be raped. No woman wants to be raped. If you didn't get the message, No one wants to be raped.

A woman wanting to be raped is strictly a male fantasy.

3) The lunkhead just doesn't get it.

Example: We will discuss boundaries.

One of my boundaries is no masturbation. I did it a few times in roleplay games early in my game playing life. By masturbation I mean, my rapist's forces me to masturbate myself. I found it INCREDIBLY boring! Now, it's one of my boundaries.

I'll tell the lunkhead, "No masturbation."
The lunkhead will reply, "But you won't have a choice." Then he usually adds an "evil grin."

I throw up my hands at the stupidity. We're on a computer!!! I can, and have, signed off in the middle of games when the guy did something really dumb or disagreeable. We're on a computer!!! I can leave whenever I want!!

4) They want to "take it to the next level"

Yeah, right. I'm going to throw away a solid 20 year relationship with my husband to meet a strange man who wants to act out a violent action against a woman.

5) Repeat IM'ers.

AOL allows you to create 7 different names. I have a screen name "Mrs. Nathpalle" just for roleplaying. On my "Buddies List" I keep track of my roleplay partners or prospective partners. Guys with whom I have played and I have rated their creativity or guys with whom I have chatted about possibly of playing. That way, I can recall the good players from the bad.

I have "5 star rapists". Sadly very, very few.

I have "4 star rapists". Sadly very few.

I have "3 star rapists". Few

I have "Rapists" A good number.

I have "One time only guys". Guys with whom I have played. They were ok but not creative enough to warrant a second game.

I have "Maybe guys". Guys with whom I have chatted but we haven't played but they have possibilities.

However, I don't have a list of guys I don't want to chat with after the first time. These guys I can remember easily. Other people don't have that good enough memories. There's one guy that IM's me every time I sign on even though I haven't spoken with after the first time.

There are other guys who IM me frequently even though I haven't chatted with them after our first conversation. Please people, use your brains. Remember the people that don't respond to your IM's.

Fellow board members, thank you for allowing me to vent. I have no where else to share these frustrations. My husband knows about my roleplaying but doesn't want to hear the details.
