So a Repulican...or in Brit terms the opposition party...says his the worse president ever, lets be honest here, he hardly going to say anything different...
Jwhan, that also means the between 51 to 56 either approve or at least have not got an opinion either way... And I wonder how many where people who voted for McClain anyway...

I'm conservative on some issues, liberal on others, I voted for Bush the first time around and John Kerry the second time around. I would have voted for Hilary Clinton, she certainly has more experience, hell even Bill Clinton said Obama has literal no experience as did Joe Bidden during the campaign. I didn't much care for McCain either but I did vote for him.
I guess I found it hard to vote for a man that said during a campaign stop that he had been to all 57 states with one left to go, his association with Bill Ayers, close or not is certainly questionable, and his Preacher of 20-years Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright, speaks for it's self. I could go on but I think we have all heard it before, and I didn't say he was the worst President ever, I said he was the worst in a long time, there is a difference. |

Many of America's Founding Fathers hated the thought of political parties. They were sure quarreling factions would be more interested in contending with each other than in working for the common good. They wanted citizens to vote for candidates without the interference of organized groups, but this was not to be. Independents like myself do not vote straight party lines for we realize the party system in America is a joke, for an American to say that he or she is a member of the Democratic or Republican party, is quite different from a Briton's stating that he or she is a member of the Conservative or Labour party. In the United States, one can often become a "member" of a party, merely by stating that fact. In some U.S. states, a voter can register as a member of one party and vote in the primary election for the other party.
I personal don't care what political party the President belongs to or what God he believes in, be it, Jesus, Isis, Thor, Allah or the Easter Bunny, I don't care about his opinion on abortion or any thing else that he has no power to change, I am interested in his opinions on the powers he has, such as, preparing the Budget of the United States, although the Congress must approve it, his being the General manager of financial Affairs, his powers of appointment and Military powers etc. Americans who vote straight party lines generally do so because of opinions the President has on issues he has no power to change, or they vote the way their Daddy did and his Daddy before him |

Wow?? People still on this? jwham good point you have there!
Who cares what he is...so lets just care about the job he is doing currently. Sure there are enough screw ups there to make a few more threads about huh?! Next we will be worrying if the Pope is Catholic or not Long as he is not behind any altar boys hes doing okay! So lets worry about peoples actions more than "Who" they are, okay?!

Yes = No. No = Yes

He is or he isn't. As long as he does what he's supposed to do I don't give a shit.
Course no president or politician for that matter will ever do what they are supposed to. But that is because they lie and aren't afraid to get dirty, not because of their religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, Obama is a Christian. If you're a Christian then you can't be a Muslim
