It is because I care that I started this thread so that people like us could have an alternative to the rolling news channel footage of Leornardo DiCaprio crying and choking his way through an acceptance speech, every quarter hour, on the quarter hour, for the next week, whilst the "breaking news" headline screams out "Shit film wins Oscar". Well atleast until another million black babies die of AIDS somewhere and the newscasters conscience gets pricked again.

i think it's about perceptions ...

we americans say "could give a crap" because we're saying "it's shit and that's all we care about it" . where as the people who say couldn't give a crap mean it's beneath "shit" ...
