got a problem with it- your ban weras off in 7days so please feel free to take it further with me. if you had bothered to read board regs posted in many places on site you would have seen our regs state underage is anyone under 18. not my prob if you cant be bothered to check out the rules. but it is my job to deal with people who dont abide by regs or who choose to repeatedly dispute them despite being advised several times to accept or drop subject.

What we answer to a rape victim, or a parent of a rape victim, who enters here and says to us that every time he/she thinks our comments, is willing to find where we live and send the coppers?

In case you are interested on this point, i can develop further my thoughts.
In case this point is a red X in your mind, no problem, we just bury it deep....

OK...While I completely agree that we don't need pedophiles on this board (or this planet) I can answer the question of why ban him for a week only? The answer is simple...It is the rule. The same rule has to apply across the board whether someone has a reputation of 250 or -250. If we state the rules clearly and state the consequences of breaking them just as clearly we can't then arbitrarily ban a person (spammers are the obvious exception).

Do I want the jackass back? HELL NO! But the banning system pretty much allows people enough rope to hang themselves, and I am pretty sure this one will. We follow our own policy or we become no better than some boards that ban for what appears to be no reason what so ever.

Just my two cents...

Well, I can understand ego's concern here. But we do not judge people for their fantasies. Even someone who has paedophiliac fantasies doesn't have to be an evil person by nature and he doesn't have to be someone to hurt anybody. Same as "regular" rape fantasisers are not evil or dangerous by nature. We have to be fair on that. We don't tolerate child (rape) porn of any kind but many people would most likely take us as complete sickos as well.
This board just doesn't support underage fantasies at all, that's where we (as rape fantasisers) make our stand and I draw the line. So zero tolerance there. Everybody joining this board (or a forum of any kind that is) can be expected to make him-/herself familiar with board regulations and respect them. And our rules are very clear on that so if someone can't respect that he/she is banned, it's that simple.
And becka's right on that. Just because we consider someone more offensive than another we can't treat this person differently. Same rules (and penalties) for everyone. Fair's fair and just is just.
Especially we - and our sub-social hobby - should be that wise and openly sensible.

It is against the regs. to bring up children.... All I am saying is that the regs. list the results of rule breaking and whether the rule is not being insulting or no children we as a board need to follow what is stated. If we decide to change the rule to a more "no tolerance" policy when it comes to underage that is one thing...Because then that will be following what is stated, but if the system stays the way it is set up we have to follow the procedure.

I guess I see the point of rules as a way to police the board and allow a member to self-correct behavior that the members as a whole fine inappropriate. To do that people need to be given the chance to change.

My point is not that guy, or children porn, or the rules and their application (btw, Becka's opinion fully covers me).
But this post, made me have some new ideas and see things from another angle (our world is like water;provides refraction and truth changes places as we change our observation angle).
I mean, about myshelf i made things clear years ago.I realized what i like, i justified it to myshelf (and this is enough- no need to justify to others) and i learned to live with it.To hide it from some, to discuss it with others, even to demand it.And i am sure i can withdraw when i approach the line (line drawn by me, the law or mate).
Until some days ago, i thought i accept this right (to be given up to vice) to other people also.And that their declaration they can control it, should be enough.
