I am technically British. However I do not have a refined accent at all haha! Although it is prettier than an English accent imo.

My accent is Welsh but its a very regional accent that I have. I tried searching on youtube for something similar but you get welsh girlies singing drunk (<3) or English people thinking they are doing it accurately and they so aren't

I guess people look at Charlotte Church for a Welsh accent but she's from Cardiff so its less native. Katherine Jenkins is more along the lines of mine but she deliberately tries to cover it up.

Its a very fast accent, I talk about 1.5x the speed of English girls and you'd have trouble understanding me at first because its really sing-songy. But people do get used to it.

I'm British (England) and my family is originally from Sussex.

I wouldn't know if my "accent" is refined (in my opinion my tongue is the original one while all others have the accent(s)

) but it certainly seems to attract men and yes, I most certainly speak "High English".

Born and raised in Southern California. So I tend to speak in a more laid back tone, but when I am busy and working I speak probably like a news ancor. Non-regional diction for me. Don't worry, I don't say dude, rad, bitchen, tubular or anything a valley girl would say. Haha. I definately have that have that pride, but far from snobby. I guess I am a go getter! Mostly I think I just have a likable speach, there really isn't to much character however.
