Security ? - Rape Board

Hi all , just a note to ask if some of our more savvy members can shed some light on the issue of PC security ?
I believe there used to be a thread on this somewhere on the board that was ideal for new members and people ( like me ) who arent overly tech smart .
I have looked again for this thread , but cant seem to find it now , maybe lost in the crash ? Anyways , perhaps any mods looking in could resurect it and make it a sticky somewhere ? Just a thought as i'm sure many people would benefit from easy to understand info on how to clear cookies , use add on's , proxies , saving files and clearing download lists etc, especially since IE & Firefox are evolving so fast.
