All right, fellow lovers of video games! Thanks to an awesome idea by TD1, here's a thread to post what games you're currently playing, reviews of games you've played, etc.

Basically it's a video game discussion--which I guess I could have said that to begin with but I'm verbose, so yeah...

all i ever really play are football games, mostly just madden and ncaa, when i'm especially bored, i'll play civilization for pc.

ah jeez, heres the thread ill be spamming XD i know its not a gaming forum, but i dont care, im gonna be mocking peoples bad taste in this thread >.>

zelda is fun, but whyd you leave out zelda 1 and links awakening on the original gameboy? theyre damn good. im shocked you included windwaker, many people really hate that game...

KH...liked i as a kid i guess, but when KH2 came out i was kinda iffy on it...i always found sora/riku to be pretty...uhh...well, there was something more there that shouldnt have been in a disney game

jak series FUCK YES oh man...but fuck jak 2, that game was evil in is hardness sometimes. 3 was too easy though, since to contrast, 3 took me 010 hours and 2 took 30

ffx...bleh. at least you didnt pick 8, now THERES a pile of shit

try 9 or 6 if you havnt yet, or better yet, find chrono trigger. best rpg ever hands down, and easily one of the best games ever made. go get it now!

I love these two games

These games are an absolute MUST. Star Wars fan or not, the games are awesome either way.

I enjoyed the first game so much that I created a game guide for it (and because the other game guides online sucked.)

You'll want to get the games on the X-Box or the 360. The PC version of the game has more bugs in it.

The only game I ever really play is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PS2 (I know sad), mainly as a form of relaxation, usually by using cheats to give me all the weapons I can, and then rampage around, causing as much destruction as possible. It's a great form of therapy.

Awww... I loved FFX. So much so that I bought FFX-2 if that proves anything.

I also love me some Sims, Harvest Moon, CoX, Fatal Frame... The list goes on.

Bah, I'm a stogy strategy game player. And I play what are the two best strategy games every made: Alpha Centauri (who doesn't love using planet busters to turn land into water?) and Europa Universalis 3, with the Magna Mundi mod (because it's the only game I know of where the pope can become a protestant and the real papacy can relocate to Riga). But other than that I play Team Fortress 2 with my friends because sometime you do need to set invisible spies on fire.

O, and I forgot--Planescape Torment, the best RPG ever made.

I've played every single Final Fantasy game all the way through and in my opinion Final Fantasy X is one of the best one. I was also a huge fan of FF4 and FF9. I thought FF7 was one of the most overrated video games of all time and is a steaming pile of shiz. I think a lot of people didn't like FFX because it was far too focused on romance and wasn't as dark as the other games. I just thought the story was amazing, the characters were engaging and it was something different. Also, Newland, have you tried Final Fantasy XII (12)? It was amazing as well.

And heck yeah RapeU!!!! Knights of The Old Republic I & II were stunning. I can't believe I forgot those. Here are some more:

Chrono Cross

Mario (preferably Sunshine, Galaxy, Mario 64, Mario Kart and Super Marios Bros.)

Sonic (ANY that were before the 3D bull started happening.)

Ratchet & Clank (Part I & II were amazing, part III made me cry because it was so bad. But then the newest one Ratchet and Clank: Future, my god that game was awesome)

(as you can see I am an avid fan of platformers)

Skullmonkeys (if you haven't played *pats your back*)

Half-Life (I & II = greatest FPS' on the planet)

Starcraft

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (most addicting game ever, ugh)

Fallout 3 (Oblivion + Zombies + Predator =yay)

Banjo-Kazooie (I & II...I'm pretending the ones that came out for the DS and Xbox 360 do not exist)

GTA Vice City is fun to play once you've beaten everything, bought all property, and found all hidden packages.

I can't decide what form of destruction I like more.

Breaking into the military base, stealing a tank, and laughing at the fools who try to stop me but blow up in the process...

or...

Standing on one of the roofs downtown where you get a clear view of the street level so that you can use a rocket launcher to destroy the cars and the ever persistent police helicopter that comes after you then using a sniper riffle to kill off the army dudes that are foolish enough to get out of their tanks...

or another possibility...

Breaking into the army base and stealing the Hunter helicopter. The only helicopter that you can shoot bullets and missiles with. Though hard to maneuver, you can take down anyone who stands in your way. Taunting the ones who peruse you is fun too. Land on a street, then when the SWAT team (or FBI) comes for you, take off and watch them run into a building!

The tanks take a little time, but they can blow up in flaming glory as long as you can get behind them and shoot their backside.

So much destruction, not enough for one day!

Wow, guess I shouldn't be surprised at the amount of gamers here, but always good to see I am not alone.

I really enjoyed MMOs when it first came out - never liked WOW, but played Guildwars back in it's day, and looking forward to Star Wars Old Republic online, Diablo 3 and Star Trek online.

FFX...wow it has been such a long time always loved auron...but seeing it mentioned on this board puts a whole new perspective on Yuna, lulu and rikku...each being such different victims, yuna would perhaps succumb most easily to her fate with lulu fighting back with spells to keep me from those full breasts as I rip upon the belts on the front of her dress, and little rikku scratching and flailing as I break her in...a whole new perspective on FF X I guess...Dollface how was ffx2?

I'm a pretty useless gamer so I gave up with the missions

On of my favourite places for mayhem is the lighthouse, either that or the shopping mall.

especially the side near the main street (where one the rampages are)

Yeah I wasn't that great at the missions either. I bought the strategy guide. That along with other internet guides helped me get through the game.

But even after everything is done, there's so much you can do!

Like...jack the firetruck stationed downtown, go on a rampage killing everyone on the sidewalk and ramming every car. You would think that it's hard to take down because of it's huge size, but it isn't. I can survive an FBI onslaught with the firetruck longer than I can with any other car.

And the best part. When you drive away from the downtown area, turn around at the port, then drive all the way back a new firetruck is parked there. Abandon the old one and get a new one for another glorious rampage! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

You can't find this game in stores, you can only find it in movie theaters, an arcade, and other places where they have arcade games.

If you see one, PLAY IT!
