I stagger out of the townhouse and down the fancy marble steps, pausing only briefly at the bottom. It's early evening and there are people in the street, staring at me. The rush as I feed is amazing and it isn't hard to obey your orders. But as I pull back and take stock of her body, cooling on the ground before me, I'm overwhelmed by guilt. I've killed her.
