I had promised myself that I would no longer post in the Rowdy Room or the Idle Talk Area.

In light of what I consider to be dictatorial rules, it was obvious that it was only a matter of time before I was banned. However, this latest dispute has really taxed my logic, common sense and patience.

My dear friend, Batffink warned me about the occasional pole axe that Fucking Rotter often brings into play and I thought he was joking. Not too long ago, I got a taste of it. Fucking Rotter is an Englishman with a sharp and dry wit. He is obviously a bright individual, but he doesn’t understand that his humor doesn’t translate well into the American vernacular.

TheDarkOne, Crotch Ripper, Stainless Steel Rat, Newland and few others try to keep the movie section clean and safe for all of us.

There are rules. They are clearly written (thank you, Sierra) and now we most often simply quote the rules and go on down the road. It might be beneficial if a few of the mods would read the rules. However, I will not mention Beka’s or Sodoman’s names. Blatant violations can sometimes cause a harsh comment, but by in large, the Movie Section is a much gentler place to play. If you spend some time there, you would see the results of the new rules.

Enter the politically correct crowd that doesn’t get posts bumped by all the nonsense and therefore have no real axes to grind. There are also posters that simply don’t seem to have a clue. Again, I will not mention Trina Crys’s name.

TD1 was absolutely correct in his manner and approach. It was polite, helpful and to the point.

Fucking Rotter’s sense of humor (or from the American standpoint, his lack of a sense of humor) combined with a personal grudge held by Pervipete that should have been buried long ago, has the potential of creating yet another war/drama on this board.

Newland got his hackles up and rightfully so. Newland helps this board more than any of the idle banterers that commonly shovel their shit in the Rowdy Room and Idle Talk section.

Rather than worry about losing money grubbing or horribly failed newbies, I suggest that we cling to the real contributors to this board. Does anyone remember, Batffink, Sparks, Maradona and many others that you openly and gratefully called friends?

This bullshit drives them away or they get banned for not being politically correct!

i have never been an extremely active poster, but, i have always been a follower of this board, and it kills me to see what has always been a great board slowly get torn apart by bullshit arguments. Some of our greatest members are being drive away (it seems phantom is about/more than ready to be done with this board, and now HRH throws out a post which i read as him having had enough) over stupid shit. I don't know what the answer is to stop it, if there is one, i just wish it would stop.

It breaks my heart to (as i see it) watch this board slowly fall apart over (as i can tell) petty arguments.
