gosh, wanted to change to another board actually. changed my mind when i read this thread. if even the mods of THAT other board are so bored to post crap like this on other boards the other board will make me more bored than i'm on this board even when i'm extremely bored.

There's always gonna be a bit of drama when 'one of the gals' takes over an administrative spot. You'll get people second-guessing you, and giving you grief. It's a damned thankless position in most forums, but those of us with a brain appreciate the work. Y'all don't get thanked often enough, but we DO need some controls here.

If for no other reason, I thought his ban was absolutely hilarious. He's banned God only knows how many people for arbitrary and capricious reasons, and then deleted their posts when he didn't agree with them. The difference is that YOU folks don't typically do that. Boy, he sure gets pissy when the shoe is on the other foot, doesn't he?

With all due respect, I think it was you that told me that anything in Rowdy Room is good, minus child porn etc when I was verbally attacked by Gaggirl too long ago. I'm not saying you deserved this personal attack but now you should understand why I was complaining before, and how it becomes relevant to this particular incident.

I think there shouldn't be an allowance of personal attacks at all even if it's the Rowdy room; perhaps making it an argument section provided that people have evidence to back up their claims rather than a haven for swearing and crude language at each other and it generally serves no purpose other than to make people mad. Also, the note saying "don't enter rowdy room if you don't want to be insulted" doesn't make sense - it doesn't stop people from making a post that contains all sorts of personal attacks and that without typing into it, you'll get no justice. It's a cheap shot. It's the neighbor that you know throws eggs at your house. You could simply phone the police but then he might reply back or you can choose to ignore it and do an injustice for yourself.

You should not quit over people's comments over something. You have a massive amount of support from this forum and just because a few people disagree, it doesn't mean that you should quit from it entirely. The person who says "that's not how you mod" (paraphrased) could be some junkie who is typing in an internet cafe. That's exactly the same if a person told you that you're not living a life properly - why is he able to influence you on what YOU do? Keep your mod status girl.
