Despot Top Trumps. - Rape Board

Every one know the card game Top Trumps? If not I'll explain when I have time.

Was thinking though, we could have a Dictators Top Trumps. They could be scored on things like years in power, number of civilians killed by them, countries invaded.

So, two questions:

1. What other catagories could they be scored on?

2. Which dictators, either current or from history, should be included?

Only ones I can think of atm is pol pot and *gasp* hitler.

Possibly catergories could be their level of insanity?

That would exclude any of the current bunch. The best dictators were around the mid to late 20th century, and we need to throw in a few weak cards.

I feel number of dead should look at percentages too. Lopez's 300 K looks weak compared to Stalin's millions, but taking into account that equaled 60 % of Paraguayan population at the time, kind of puts it into a different perspective.

Really, Maggie and old Pants On Fire only dictated their cabinets, they were elected fair and square. Comrade Teflon Shoulders and Man at C&A on the other hand both orchestrated coups. Of those, Teflon never won an election so he would probably qualify as a dictator. He was a bit mad too, having claimed to have saved the world, though what he was saving it from or for is anyone's guess.

If being democratically elected makes someone ineligible, than take out Hitler as not only was he democratically elected but his early seizure of power was completed using laws that were already part of the post-WWI German constitution...

Hitler not being considered a dictator despite his election would then set a precedent for some nutjob cancelling elections. Gordon Brown would have loved that!

Hey I was just going on your concept that being elected stops you being a dictator, in fact he had a percentage of the vote greater then most British Prime Ministers, certainly since the landslide Labour victory of 1946.

His "selection" as Labour leader was certainly not a seriously contested one. I think it was Brown took the decision not to give us a referendum we were promised on some Euro bollocks or other, could be wrong about that though.
