Well, I haven't read the books either - always was utterly bored by those whiny-emo-sad-suffering Anne Rice-style vampires.
I started watching "Twilight" since I was set up by a friend, tricked into believing it was a hilariously violent "Blade"-style vampire movie (thanks a lot you blasted bitch by the way

) but I had to stop after about twenty minutes in since it was so bloody boring and full of clichÃ©s, it was unbearable.
It's a movie for teenage girls who still have romantic daydreams about their "dark lover" ... rubbish!

I not that keen on this kind of book anyway, the only fantasy books I've read and enjoyed is the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I loved how involved the world was, how much detail was put into them, even though to giving complete back stories to the charectors and races.

Well I loved the movie. Couldn't read the books though they moved to slow lol.
