All I have to say is PLEASE dont request for threads to be closed people. That pisses me off. If you dont want to read the damn thread, DON'T!!! Maybe people enjoy this crap why take it away from them?

I think some threads are stupid as hell but I just dont participate or read the discussions...I dont go all gung ho welding a rifle begging for the thread to be closed for the good of the world.

I was discussing how civilians DO die in warfare all the time. What did everyone think of the American bombing pf Japan in World War 2 where little Japanese babies burned to death in their cribs or while in the laps of their grandmothers. How does that make you feel about the good ole' Yankee mentality about killing innocent civilians??

so don't want to go here , but ....

the japanese army was much more cruel than ours and they showed they would fight to the end . it ended the war (ww2) faster and with less causalities . if you want to cry about that maybe you should be crying for the innocent victims of the japanese aggression that started that theater of the war .

btw : hell chitown one wasn't enough to stop them ... it did take 2 a-bombs

as i stated i'm against wars , but some have to be fought . and innocent people die . i'm sorry about that . and i don't compare war + guerrilla warfare and terrorism as the same thing , even tho it kills innocent civilians all the same .

as for the thread thing ... the thread starter can have it closed if they wish . if somebody wants the discussion to go on they can open a new one . if the mods chose to close a thread for whatever reason (without/against the starters wishes) a new one probably won't last long .

So...killing innocents if perfectly ok when its done for the right reasons? Or shall I say in the right reasons in you mind. Terrorist attracks are seen as "right reasons" in the mind of those who commit them. They do it for reasons that you will never comprehend and they will never stop because it consumes their lives and you will never know what that is. When the the Americans were ordered in the Phillipines to kill any civilian that looked over the age of 10 because they "might" be guerillas, was that 'right'? You dont have to compare warfare and terrorism if you dont want to, its on you.

i said i was sorry about the killing of innocents . that to me doesn't mean i condone it . but unfortunately it does happen .

as for the rest ... not going to debate every conflict that has ever happened .

but i will say that a "war" a conflict that both countries know is being fought or going to be fought is just "slightly" different than somebody blowing themselves up just to kill innocent people . that to me is just one difference between them .

But you dont know the reasons that they do it. Why would someone strap a bomb to their chest and blow themselves up, along with killing others? They do in the name of their God, and that is reason enough for them, and they are not going to stop because their whole lives they were taught that you do what is necessary in the name of God, including committing suicide and killing others. You can say its wrong, but its not wrong for them. Holy wars. There have been RAGING wars in history just for the sake of religion. Is some conflict over land reason to kill? or disagreements over political parties reason to kill? is religion reason to kill? When is it ok to kill? You want to debate when it is right to kill innocent people, but you dont want to talk about the history...so when is it right?

wow , alot to get into chitown . first off i didn't say it was wrong for them . for me ... yes it's fucked up .

usually with land wars comes the taking of a way of life .... enforcing their way/will on you .

personally i'd like to live and let live . that is what i would like . will it happen because i want it ? not likely !!!

I see the American nuclear bombing of Japan in WW2 was a kind of the terrorism and it was worse than the attacks of 11/9 by all measures,that nuclear bombing destroyed two big cities in Japan "Hiroshima and Nagasaki" with some small cities around them and more than 240,000 human"95% of them are civilians" were killed and I the bad effects of the nuclear bombing in the natural of this lands didn't removed totaly until now.
I think it's a black point in the history of the wars generaly.

lol bombing a country you've been at war with for 4 years , one where they started the war is the same as an act of terrorism ? also they could have surrendered after the first bomb , why did they (the japanese government) make the second one happen to end the war ? for somebody that doesn't like anything bad said about your country you sure like to run down other ones and the acts they do .

well, there is evidence that pearl harbor was partially set up by FDR, so you cant really say that the japanese started the war, since the states wanted in anyways...and even if they didnt, if you wanna get technical, britain and france started it

yeah i've heard the conspiracy stuff on how fdr enticed them . but they (the japanese) were in china and other countries (committing atrocities) before they attacked the u.s. . and no matter what they did attack the u.s. , they are responsible for their own actions , just as the u.s. is for theirs .

as for england and france ... how did they start the pacific theater of world war 2 ? and didn't they declare war on germany because of germany invading poland ?
