ive had the cops called on me by a girl because i kicked the livin shit out of her boytoy cause i just so happened to find him smackin her around at a party i was having with prolly close to 100 people and i walked up headbutted the shit out of him and the just beat the fuck out of him but anyways about 2 days later cops showed up at my door told me the prick and his girl wanted justice and blah blah blah but the cops just talked to my PO and had it handled like that

Its very sad.

However if she dies tomorrow after being thrown down three flights of stairs, it would be front page news and flashed in my face about how tragic and cruel it is, what a great singer she was and how much of a loss it is. He would be strung up as archvillain of the century.

Personally I wouldn't want to hear it.

I would have very little sympathy for her. She has made her choice to go back to a man who hit her in the face for reading a text message. She must know the risks.

I understand what you are saying. It's hard to say why men and women stay with partners that have physically abused them. It can stem from low self esteem to love. Sometimes, its just not that easy to just walk away.

Men and women can suffer for years and years in violent relationships, some of them actually believe that they deserve to be hurt and some bizzarely enough is pride - that they have let some one in their life and loved them so much and can't accept that or admit that their partner has done that.

Some men and women are fortunate to walk away as some are just not ready.

Not them present, but the subject was brought up. Apparantely, Rihanna was smacking him around while he was driving so he pulled over and beat her ass. So, if you ask me, Rihanna was the first to become the abuser. My point is that nobody knows what happened and what provoked it.

Thats how men are these days. Any of you would have done the same thing and No, dont come at me and say "no I wouldnt" cause I know you would be full of shit, so dont even bother talking.

PLUS: Oprah and her posse said that Chris was a victim himself reliving the cycle of violence from his childhood. They felt for sorry for him.

Feeling shit about yourself is addictive, it's kind of comforting, you think its the way life should, it's happiness and self confidence that feel abnormal.

I do understand.

I just kinda understand it less of a millionairess pop star with thousands or possibly millions of decent men willing to take her off of this guys hands. I find it hard to see anyone who lives their life in this kind of spotlight as having low self esteem although I guess it is possible.

I do think though, if a guy hit me it really wouldn't matter whether i thought i loved him or not. But then I personally don't really suffer from low self-esteem and have places to go so i guess i kinda see that it could be harder.

The thing is, just having money doesn't mean that you react or think any different than the rest of us.

Celebs have been known to have issues with esteem as much as the next person, the only difference is that this is done in public, not in private.

Look at this thread for example, would any of us be debating this if it was Chris and Rihanna, salesman and shop worker?

As to an earlier post, maybe I would have hit back in 'self defence' but it still wouldn't have been right.
