Talking about rape movies, what is the the most arousal to you ?

To see genital parts penetration or not to see it ?

I've found myself thinking about the definition of the word 'erotic' and I think if I had to define it I would say erotic happens when your imagination has a chance to work. It actually is, to some extent, the opposite of porn to me. Just for the record, I think the word Erotic comes from Eros, the Greek god of beauty, also sometimes considered as the god of perversion, depending on what direction the conversation was taking.

I've seen a movie today called 'Casualties Of War' starring Michael J.Fox and Sean Penn. The movie takes place during Vietnam war and it's about a group of soldiers led by an embittered sergeant who decides they will kidnap a Viet girl so they'll have fun with her when they'll be bored to death on their next mission. As you can guess, they rape her, but the directing makes it longer for the rape to happen, and that really pushes your imagination to 'enhance' the rape scene. If you take that scene out of the concept, then it is worthless. You do not see any tits and asses. But the way the director did manipulate your imagination makes your pleasure HUM !

I should say the horror of the scene more powerful. I think it's a bit like strip-tease. If the dancer takes off all her clothes right away the impact of her lovely body on people mind is weaker.

So, what do you prefer, wait an hour and have a more subtle pleasure or having a crude, thoughtless rapid rape ?

Casualties of War is an excellent movie and I completley agree with what your saying.

I am reminded of an adage I leanred during my days as a stunt performer. " If people don't care about the fighters they wont care about the fight scene" To me a rape scene is better iwhen there is build up an tension. In fact I think the Lack of Visible pornography is often times far more alluring than the presence of it.

Also, and I have made this point before though last time i brought it up i don't think i was understood completley, In more mainstream movies rpae is handled in a much different way than in most rape porn. its darker, more brooding. Where as in Porn most of the time rape just consists of a smiling girl saying " no no no." the darker and more emotionally disturbing it is.. the more i enjoy it

I am always a little perplexed when pornos focus heavily on genitals. Genitals are gross, weird-looking, and not all that sexy. Faces are hot. Bodies are hot. Sounds are hot. Clothes are hot. Genitals....are boring.

To see the actual penetration makes it real. In normal movies you always know they are wearing those thin undies etc. But I can remember when I first saw Baise Moi and you saw vaginal penetration during the rape. Man oh man.

Once the penetration is done, a bit more normal fucking would be nice. Always so funny to see the guy twisted sideways pushing his cock into the girl from the side just so that the camera can get the penetration. Whereas normal body to body fucking would have been much more erotic.

I guess I like a bit of genitals and penetration shown, just for a bit, and not up-close, but I certainly don't like it for extended periods. And I wouldn't have it as a necessity in a scene, and I'd rather none than constant stupid positions that are rediculously uncomfortable even to look at, just so the camera can see the mechanics. I'd have to agree, I prefer faces, both of victim and rapist, and whole bodies and movement; I don't much see the point of genitals if the rest isn't attached.

If I'm watching it for the rape, so, I guess, for the porn, then I don't want much of a big build up, I don't want to be kept waiting. But if I'm watching it for the suspense and the whole story, then yes, I would have to agree that a long build-up, if well-constructed, adds far more to a rape-scene, or, for that matter, any sex-scene, than gratuitous exposure of genitalia.
