Karen slowly regained awareness, Like waking from a drunken stupor, first to return was to her was the sense of sound and she could clearly her the sound of a motor running, She could hear voices, Three of them in fact all male and all in high spirits. Slowly she opened her eyes and a moment of panic flooded through her as she realised that she could not see.

Suddenly everything came rushing back to her, The screech of the brakes as the black van pulled up beside her, the side door opening and two men jumping out. They worked together quickly restraining her, One of them had even punched her in the stomach driving the wind from her lungs keeping her from screaming as they pulled a sack over her head and lifted her in to the back of the van. She remembered them pushing her face down onto the floor of the van, Pulling the sack tightly around her throat until everything went black.

Slowly she shifted, trying to get her hands under her and turn over, But her hands refused to move, She could feel the cold rings of metal chaffing at her wrists as she tried once again and relised that at some point while she was out they must have handcuffed her. Her movements had not gone unnoticed and she heard one of the voices saying “She’s awake” Although she could not see them she could sense the eyes on her. Another voice answered “About time, were almost there and it will save us carrying her”.

The van begin to slow and eventually came to a stop. Karen heard the side door slide open and suddenly hands were grabbing at her pulling her up “Walk” she was commanded as someone took hold of her arm and guided her forward. Together they walked, pausing a couple of times as her guide opened doors. She was led down some stairs and along a corridor there footsteps echoing ominously. They paused before another door and suddenly she was pushed forward. She stumbled trying desperately to get her hands free to break her fall, she hit the ground hard and barely heard the door slam shut behind.

Time lost all meaning as she sat in the dark, Five minutes or five hours she did not know but finally she heard the key tuning in the lock and the sound of footsteps entering the room.

The sound of footsteps coming toward her made Karen’s heart beat faster. Her breathing became heavy with fear. She pressed her feet against the cold cement floor and tried to scoot away from the man or men who were coming to her. She was frightened and wanted to put distance between herself and whoever was approaching. She inched her way so painfully slow that she sobbed, the cuffs biting into her wrists. It was like a nightmare, one that she was not going to wake up from. What had she done to make someone this mad at her?

She was glad the sack was on her face so she would not be able to see these people. She felt the wall against her back and realized the footsteps had stopped. There was no sound at all except maybe for the stranger’s soft breath. She waited for awhile and when she could stand it no longer she called out. “Whose there, why are you doing this to me? I haven’t done anything wrong.” Fear ran through her when no one spoke to her. WHO IS THERE?” She screamed close to hysterics.

Mike entered the room, His eyes instantly falling on the solitary figure before him. She was a pitiful sight, Huddled in the centre of the room where she had fallen. Her designer labelled clothing wrinkled from her rough treatment, And all this was topped of by that black sack over her head which left her blind to the world.

As he took a step towards her he smiled with amusement as she shuffled back form him, It was a futile gesture as she soon discovered when she encountered the solid brick wall. She cowered against the wall drawing her knees up to her chest. Mike crouched down before her, if she had moved her feet merely an inch she would have touched him. He remained silent letting the tension in the room build feeding her fears.

“Whose there, why are you doing this to me? I haven’t done anything wrong.” Mike ignored her questions. He continued to crouch before her his smile widening as he heard the fear in her voice. “WHO IS THERE?” She screamed her voice echoing within around the empty room.

Standing Mike backed away from her, returning to the door. Opening it up he grabbed the chair from out in the hallway and purposely dragged it into the centre of the room, letting the legs scrap across the floor. Returning to the doorway he retrieved the video camera and the tripod and set it up in front of the chair, Turning his attention back towards his current charge he noted that she had not moved from her place against the wall.

Walking over to her he leaned over and closed his hand around her upper arm “Up” he growled at her, He did not give her time to make any attempt on her own he simply hauled her to her feet and pulled her along with him. Steering her in front of the seat he paused “Sit” Pushing her back he unceremoniously deposited her on the seat.

Letting go of her arm he stepped behind her and loosened the cuffs from around one wrist and attached the empty loop to the chair. Using a second set he attached her other wrist to the other side of the chair and stood up placing his hand on her shoulders.

“Now listen carefully” He said “We are not interested in you, Our business is with your father” he told her as his hands loosened the cord holding the sack over her head “You see he has stolen a considerable sum from my employer and we want it back” With a tug Mike pulled the sack off her head and smiled as she flinched the sudden light burning her eyes. Stepping in front of her he let her have a moment to recover her sight, He smiled as she looked up at him for the first time. At 6‘3“ Mike knew he cut an imposing figure, His close cropped hair only helping to give him a menacing appearance, he gave her a moment to glance around the empty room, “You are simply here to encourage your father to return the money to us, As long you behave and your father does as we ask him then you will be set free in a couple of days”.

He crouched down before her and placed his hands on her legs “If you misbehave or your father fails to deliver things will take a turn for the worse” His hands squeezed her legs prising them apart suggestively, he looked up into her eyes “Do you understand what I have just told you”.

Karen knew someone was there in the dark looking at her; she was scared out of her mind with fear. She wondered why they did not speak to her and tell her what she had done to deserve this treatment. She heard the faint sound of the door opening and then the scraping grating noise of a chair being dragged along the cement floor. She heard the footsteps of someone big coming close to her again. A small scream slipped out of her lips before she could stop it as a warm big hand wrapped around her upper arm. “Up,” the voice was deep as he growled at her. She gasped as the man hauled her up onto her feet as if she were a rag doll and held her steady as he guided her across the floor. “Sit,”
She felt herself stumble into the chair; she landed with a soft plop. She felt the cuffs open and one of her wrists were free the other was pulled downward and she heard the click of the cuff snapping into place. She jumped as another set of cuffs clicked onto her other wrist and her hand was pulled down and locked in place.

She cringed as the man’s hands grasped her shoulders. “Now listen carefully, we are not interested in you, our business is with your father.” She felt the man’s hands at her throat opening the tie that held the sack over her head. She did not know whether to be happy or scared about that. She would know what they looked like and in movies a victim that could identify their attacker always died. “You see he has stolen a considerable sum from my employer and we want it back” Karen did not believe her Father would do such a thing but she held her tongue as the sack came off her head. Her long wavy blonde hair tumbled down her back as she blinked her eyes at the burning light.
As her vision began to clear, she looked around the room and then she saw a tall well built man in front of her. She raised her crystal blue eyes upward and looked into his eyes. “You are simply here to encourage your father to return the money to us, As long you behave and your father does as we ask him then you will be set free in a couple of days”.

Karen pressed her body into the chair as the man crouched down before her and placed his hands on her legs. She closed her legs tightly, protecting herself from this unknown threat. “If you misbehave or your father fails to deliver things will take a turn for the worse” She felt the man prying her legs open and turned to hold them closed firmly but she knew she was in trouble as he parted her legs in a suggestive manner.

Her fear was overpowering now as she looked into his eyes. “Do you understand what I have just told you”? Her mouth was too dry to answer his question so she quickly nodded her head as her body trembled with fear.”

Standing up once again mike stepped to the side letting her see the video camera for the first time “Good, So we can get the ball rolling then” he said as he moved behind the camera, Adjusting the angle so that the camera caught her face. He pressed the record button and walked around coming to rest behind her once again. Karen could see the small image in the view finder and she could clearly see herself in there, she could also see the bulky chest of the man as he stood behind her, his face out of frame.

He began to speak, though his words were directed at the camera not her “As you can see we have your daughter, If you return the money within 48 hours she will be returned to you unharmed” he paused for a moment before he placed his hand on her shoulders once again and gave them a squeeze “Say hello to your father” he told her “Assure him that we have not hurt you”

It didn’t register right away that there was a video camera pointed right at her as the man stepped to the side. Hope ran through her as she knew when her Father saw the video he would come for her. She nodded her head up and down quickly as a child would as the man said they would get the ball rolling. She watched him adjust the camera once more. She could see her own fear filled face looking at her in the viewfinder. She tensed as the huge man stood behind her, frightened of what he might do.

Karen sat quietly as the man spoke, she knew no one could see his face but wondered if they would recognized such a big man by his body. “As you can see we have your daughter, if you return the money within 48 hours she will be returned to you unharmed.”

She stiffened when his hands cam down on her shoulders again and squeezed them. “Say hello to your father, assure him that we have not hurt you” Karen looked right into the viewfinder; her eyes were wide with fright. “Daddy, please come for me, I am scared, they haven’t hurt me yet but they will. Please Daddy come quick, give them what they want.” The camera shut off somehow and she raised her head looking into the man’s eye. Her own were filled with unshed tears and she trembled violently as he looked at her.

As the camera shut down Mike removed his hands from her shoulders and carefully folded up the tripod and carried the camera back out of the room. He left the door wide open and Karen could clearly hear the sounds of others moving around out in the corridor. He returned a few minutes later and crouched down before her again.

“Now just to make sure things are clear” he said as he looked up into her eyes “My job is to keep you within this room, It is my responsibility to ensure you are feed and watered and I will escort you to the restroom if required”. He pushed himself up and circled around behind the chair. Karen felt the cuffs slip free of her wrists “It is also my responsibility to ensure that no one else enters this room” he returned to stand in front of her stuffing the handcuffs into his pocket “You remember the three men that brought you in her, They would think nothing of coming down here and entertaining themselves while we wait for your father if you know what I mean, So I would not advise any attempt at escaping, it is in your best interests to remain here” with those words he left the room pulling the door closed behind him, turning the key turn in the lock as he went.

Karen found herself alone once again, With the door closed the room was deathly quite, it was almost as if she could hear her own heart beating. It was some hours later that the key once again turned in the lock, She watched as mike entered.

“It gets cold down here at night” he said as he dropped a couple blankets on the floor, He handed her a folded brown bag glancing inside Karen saw a burger, Fries and a coke to wash it down with. He looked at her “ you need anything else, bathroom or anything like that” he asked “if so say now or I will see you in the morning”.

Relief flooded through Karen as the man removed his hands from her shoulders. She watched him closely as he carried the video equipment to the door. She heard other male voices in the hallway and bit her lip. She was almost glad when the man returned and crouched by her once more. She looked down into his eyes as he spoke to her and explained his responsibility to her. Food and water and bathroom privileges was his responsibility to her.

She watched him stand up and walk around her and soon she felt her wrists released from the cuffs. She groaned a bit as she slowly moved her hands in front of her and rubbed her wrists. His next words stop her dead in her tracks as he told her he would ensure that no one enters the room. He reminded her of the three men who had kidnapped her and warned her that they would like to entertain themselves with her. She blushed and looked at him wide eyed as he warned her not to try escaping. She nodded her head as she thought of those men.

Karen watched the man leave, she could hear the key turn in the lock and she looked around the room. She sat for hours just looking at the door. Sometimes her fear would over come her and she could feel her heart beating wildly. Her head snapped to the door when she heard the key once more. She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the big man. He walked over to her and dropped blankets on the floor and told her that it got cold here at night. “Thank you,” She wondered why she said that to the man who was holding her captive.

She saw the bag in his hands and took it when he gave it to her. She bent her head and looked inside to see food. Not until that moment did she realize how hungry she was.
She looked at him as he spoke asking her if she needed anything else and when he mentioned the bathroom she knew she had to go but was too shy to ask him to take her. But as he said he would see her in the morning. She stood up and looked at hi. “I have to go to the bathroom, please will you take me?" She looked down demurely.

Mike was already half way towards the door before her heard the chair scrape against the floor as she got to her feet ““I have to go to the bathroom, please will you take me?" her voice was quite almost like a shy child, Mike noticed her cheeks beginning to redden with embarrassment at having to ask to be taken to the toilet.

Smiling he ushered her out into the hallway his large hands once again closing around her upper arm as he escorted her down the corridor. As they walked the past a number of doorways most of them were closed but the one up ahead was open and she could hear voices from within. As they past by Karen risked a glance inside and could see a dozen men within, They seemed to be watching something on the big screen television and as she glanced at that she could clearly see a porn movie playing.

Mike pulled her by the open doorway and pause outside the next door, kicking the door open he stuck his head inside, “Ok lets make this quick” he said as he pulled her inside. The bathroom looked like most public toilets, or at least what Karen thought a gents toilet would look like Urinals lined one wall and stalls the other. Mike lead her over to the first stall and let go of her arm “Ill be waiting right here” he told her as he gave her a shove into the stall “So don’t take all day”.

Karen tensed as the big man wrapped his large hand around her upper arm. She could feel his hand graze her breast as he hustled her out of the room and down a hallway. She could see many doorways on both sides of the corridor that were closed but up ahead there was one open and her natural curiosity made her glance inside. She could see men in there looking at a big screen television and to her embarrassment she saw a naked man with a naked woman doing things to each other that made her blush. She dropped her eyes again as they walked on a little further.

The man pulled her by an open doorway and kicked another door open. She jumped in surprise as he stuck his head inside. “Ok let’s make this quick.” Karen had never seen a men’s bathroom before and she blushed as she saw all the Urinals. She hoped she did not have to go in that. She was relieved as he led her to a row of stalls and let go of her arm. She looked up into his eyes. “Ill be waiting right here so don’t take all day”. He shoved her toward the stall and Karen opened the door and stepped in. She locked the door and looked at the toilet, it seemed clean enough. She felt nervous as she pulled down her pants and then her panties and sat on her hands. For a moment she felt like she could not go with the big man standing right outside the bathroom.

In the quiet room the sound of her urine hitting the toilet sounded so loud to her. She knew the man could hear that and her cheeks burned with embarrassment. She seemed to be going forever increasing her discomfort of the circumstances. When she thought she was done she pushed down and more came out of her. She rolled her eyes wondering what the man was thinking of her. She reached for the toilet paper and to her chagrin, there was none. Her face felt hot as she spoke. “Mr., could you give me some toilet paper.” She wanted to crawl into a hole as she waited for his answer.

Mike chuckled to himself as he heard Karen slide the bolt home, He knew that if he felt the need to enter the stall that flimsy lock would do nothing to stop him so he allowed her the illusion of privacy she required. Silence filled the room as he waited for her to finish up ad for what felt like an eternity Mike heard nothing from beyond the stall door. He was just beginning to think she was wasting his time when he heard the steady flow of urine. The tiled walls of the restroom seemed to amplify the sound making it echo around the room.

Mike chuckled again as he pictured her sitting on the toilet, her face crimson with the knowledge that he was standing just outside listening to her. Once he thought she had finished only for the flow to start up a few seconds later. A few moment later the silence returned to the restroom and Mike waited for the sound of the flush but it never came, instead her meek voice spoke through the door “Mr., could you give me some toilet paper.”

Mike stepped into the next stall and grabbed the roll from the holder, returning to the first stall he pushed against the door. Finding it still locked he knocked "If you want this your going to have to open the door." he called through the door.

I listened as the man opened the door to the stall next to me and wait as I heard him tear the toilet paper from the wall. I expected him to push it under the wall of the next stall like woman did but when I looked down I was surprised to see the walls went right down to the floor. I jumped as he rattled the door and knocked. He told me that if I wanted the toilet paper I would have to open the door.

My face burned as I stood up and went by the door. I unlocked it and shoved my arm out with my hand open. I waited for a long time before I peeked out the door. "Can I have the toilet paper, please." I wondered if he was teasing me.
