Actually Jack, you did receive an official warning back on the 01/06/07 and then a second warning on the 03/09/07. So the rules were followed and you were given the correct warning procedures that are in place. I advice you pay closer attention to things before going off acting like you have been treated differently or unjust.

I was banned twice from this board. I never received a warning before my first ban. I received a warning concomitant with the ban. There was supposed to be a first time warning without banning. My first time warning was acompanied by a ban. The second ban as well. I'm not complaining about it, though. I just wanted to point that out, but I'm not making a big deal about it. I'm used to being wronged...

As far as pedo or not, seems like it's more about poking fun at priests and certain .. eh.. habits some are reported to have. At least there have recently been some very well documented cases in the U.S.

It's illegal in canada and possibly also Australia (I'm almost -but not quite- sure it's illegal there as well).

It's been shot down TWICE by the Supreme Court as cartoons do not harm children, but the idiot child of GWB Sr. decided to toss Yet Another Effing Statute at cartoons. That will also fail the Supreme Court litmus test, but it hasn't been brought before them yet...

I doubt it will ever be illegal in the U.S. Banning cartoon depictions would be a first step towards banning literature with under-aged sex and realationships, resulting in a ban of "Lolita" and even "Romeo and Juliet."

The only pedo porn that should be illegal is that which exploits and abuses REAL children, and that is what US law currently labels as illegal child porn.

That site is obviously hosted in a country where loli/shota/pedo cartoons are legal. The legal issues of linking to that site depends on the location of the linker site's hosting company's servers. If rape board is hosted somewhere where it's illegal, please be so kind as to inform me and take the link down. If not, then all is ok.

I'm pretty sure all the earlier acts or laws were struck down by the Supreme Court for being either 'overly vague' or because cartoons 'do not show harm against persons'. That should have included the 1996 act. GWB Jr signed the PROTECT Act of 2003 that attempts to overturn the Supreme Court (again), and it hasn't been tested since then. I have to disappear for several days, but I'll look up the relevant statutes when I get back.

The ban on computer generated kiddy porn that's indistinguishable from real people will hold against the Supreme Court ruling, though. The court only said that CARTOONS were exempt. Anything that attempts to portray real pedophilia via 3D graphics SHOULD damn well be banned.

Persuant to USC § 2257, all characters were CELLULOID at the time of production... only ink and paper were harmed.
