to Gretchyn: wow, you are very nice to give away said accounts, even for a 1 month issue.

Congrats to the recepients...thankfully, it goes to 2 very deserving members that have shared and contributed to the server.

I don't see much validity to the argument that a minor might be getting the "free" account. First: the two members that got the accounts have uploaded plenty of files. So, it would seem that they have an ample supply of this kind of adult material. Second, many are browsing the forum, and if they had an interest, they are be downloading the files anyway. Third, what manner of identification would be valid or verifiable via the internet?

Rather than continue...just let em say... nice and generous gesture on gretchyn's part, and it went to well deserving members.

Unbelievable that you would say something like this! I just had to respond especially when that is the point of the board (sharing) Almost everything posted here is a [RS] post and giving free accounts that otherwise will be wasted is fantastic! Even though your concern is legit, we can't police everyone who is on the net! That's what parents are for! I love non selfish people!

Good point but impractical,

One: as someone has already said how could you ask for ID, it could be faked easily.

Two: do you really want to give out your personal ID to a member on this board you don't know?

Three: RS allows you to download links free every x number of minutes so they can access porn anyhow.

Four: Minors should not be on this board anyhow.

I agree.

You can't really police someone unless you're always behind their shoulders watching what they do but even then, you won't know what the person you're observing is thinking.
