And an explanation. But first, the apology.

I'm so very sorry I haven't been around of late!! I haven't abandoned this place, or lost interest I promise!

Explanation:

My computer has picked up some sort of virus or the like that's been interfering with my ability to A): Open links every few times I try and B): Close out of/minimize pages. It instead likes to freeze, with the page full-size and visible. As I've said before, no one else in the house knows about my being here, so this is not in any way ideal. I just couldn't risk being here before, but currently I'm looking into freeware registry cleaners, so with any luck that won't be a problem for long. Thank you all for, well, taking the time to read this. I'll take my punishment now.

Also, added bonus--I had an idea for roleplay that seems kind of hot to me. Remember the thread about supernatural rape, as in committed by ghosts, demons, vampires, etc.? Well, my idea entails a young female paranormal investigator going to research a supposedly 'haunted' hotel or mansion, seeking to confront the entity the locals call 'Jack'. She brings all the usual camera/infrared/heat-detection/audio-recording equipment, her cameraman boyfriend, a female accomplice--possibly a cousin or best friend. They go around doing the investigation, when signs of unusual activity start up--doors creak open or slam shut with no one near them; thermometers register randomly-appearing cold spots, electronics go haywire, EVPs detected, etc. Good, but just barely not conclusive enough. So, boldly, the lady sequesters herself in a room that has a reputation for being particularly haunted. She has rigged up a camera to record live, and stream its video onto the internet for all to see. it's late at night, and dark, when suddenly....BANG! The closet door slams open. (she is nowhere near it at the time. ) She nervously reports that she's suddenly getting chills now, or the room has gone colder; her hair is standing on end. Footsteps are heard, moving slowly towards her. Trying not to act frightened, she asks who's there. The response is an eerily-hissed, 'Jaaaack,' as the footsteps continue approaching. she continues to ask questions, all the while backing away.

'Why are you here?!?'

â€™ She...killed me. I...want her blood.' (Or something similar, implying that he is angry at some woman he feels was responsible for his death and that he wants her to suffer some way in revenge.)

'Who did?'

â€™ You...know what you did...'

'What did I do?'

â€™ You...little slut girl..'

She's backed up actually onto the bed by now, cowering in fear.

'What are you going to do?!?'

â€™ You...know.'

'Leave me alone!! You don't belong here!! You lived in and loved this place, but you're dead now and you need to move on--'

â€™ Bad girl...no one...believes you...'

'Stop it!! Stop!!'

As millions world-wide watch, the bedclothes are thrown aside, she shrieks and begins struggling with a thing she alone can see. Her boyfriend, waiting outside, hears and begins beating on the door. The door has locked itself from the inside. He can only listen helplessly to her ghostly rape.

I'm not sure I'll be around enough to play this out, so those with literary bent can feel free to make a story of this or play it with someone else. Enjoy, loves!!!
