Good Day - Rape Board

I wish Rapeboard all of the luck, and choose to leave with my perception of dignity.

I had wondered what drove people off the deep end, so I decided to test the waters.

I gave Sierra a Negative rep as a test to see how the "gang" would take it, and I can assure you, my presumptions were right. Since then, every day I get a neg rep from Somedude, Phantom, Sierra, Privipete and others, and I am given the exact same negative rep comment I gave Sierra. "Ding".

There is a bit of a "gang" mentality, and I am surprised to see the moderators jumping on the band wagon. You cross one person, and the click jumps in as a powerful defense. Rep is not important, but I stood over +5000 and in one day have gone to +3000 and I am sure in a day or two will be in the negative based on this Pack -Rep squad.

Rep is not important to me, I like to give it out, or take it away the way it is supposed to be used. I come here for brief entertainment, and to download rape movies. Rep is important to some people, and I think that is what drove some great posters away.

I can understand why some people would go off the deep end, because their hands are tied. How can they compete with the strong hold moderation and Rep Squad?

+60,000 rep Phantom? How glorious is this when 1/3 is from Sierra, and the other 1/3 from the +Rep Pack that has you on the rotation?

I know why this board is so full of hatred and negativity, it is because of the terrible group of cancer that infects inconspicuously. When the cancer is removed, then it can become healthy.

P.S. Because of the "hard-ball" game that was played to me by the moderation, admin will be notified by the webhost that they will no longer be able to host the site because of illegal material hosted last week that was screenshotted and sent to Ontario Internet Crime division where the site is hosted.

I'm sorry to see any good poster go, but your 'test' seems ridiculous and a 'rep gang' seems to be a ridiculous reason to leave for someone who claims to not care about rep.

Heh. I love how you tell half the story. You gave me neg rep. I asked you why. Politely. The PM you sent to me in response should probably have gotten you banned. (Insults outside the Rowdy Room are against the rules.) Like most people would do, I shared your insults with friends. They responded to your completely unprovoked attacks and insults. That's what friends do.

Other members should also know that everything I said to you I said in public. Let the other members judge for themselves if what I wrote warranted the insults you sent my way.

Has anyone else noticed that just about the only people who complain about this are people who provoke and prod relentlessly until someone retaliates? Looking at Stricken's posts outside of the movie forum, I see over and over and over the left-handed compliments, the snarky little comments, and the needling other members. I see where he has been slapped down by others before and acted the innocent victim.

As for the rep, it isn't that important to any of us, except as a way to show respect, appreciation and friendship. Neg repping is showing DISrespect, DISpleasure and an unfriendly attitude. To neg rep a respected member just as a test is a little like going into a bar and insulting one of the regulars. Never a good idea unless you actually like getting your ass kicked.

First of all, this site is on a private server. You can't touch it.

Second of all, you obviously know nothing about internet law. NOTHING is hosted on RB's servers. Someone posted links of illegal content? Which was then taken down? That's not illegal. This is a board open to everyone with an internet connection and an email address. RB is only liable if they are asked to take it down and refuse.

Third - You whiny little twat. How dare you come on a board where you have been a participant for quite a while now and threaten to have it shut down. There is no way you could have burnt your bridges here more thoroughly. If you do show up on a similar board (as Phantom predicted), and I come to hear about it, I will warn the admins there that you are a rat who is liable to report THEIR board to authorities, too. And by the way your IP address will be circulated to the community of forum owners. You'll have to actually buy your fap material for a while.

This does raise the question with me again that maybe just turning off the rep system would solve alot of the issues and bad blood that gets brought up on here.

I don't know about you guys but even though I will use the rep system to regognise a good post or a bad one from time to time I am more than capable of dropping a message or making an appropriate post to give the thumbs up or down in a given case.

Thoughts?

I was Ok with your post till the end, rep is a number, it only has value if you allow it to. Unless the person giving neg. or pos. rep is someone whose opinion you value, it means nothing. And, I agree, the ban button seems to be used a bit more than in the past.

But, ending your post with a threat is more than a little childish.
