A little angry with the system - Page 5 - Rape Board

Hey guys....yeah, I completely agree that this thread needs to die, it really made my blood boil and I dont have words to describe my feelings on it. The mods allow it just like they allow "jokes" made about raping children. Ban Conrad!

I lost all respect for the people on this board after that incident and *I* was the asshole for making a fuss about it. So I am not surprised that this member isnt banned. The ethics of members as a whole are kinda fucked up. I use to believe that the people on this board were genuinly good, but not so much anymore. But hey, thats just how I feel.

Some can say its a matter of free speech, but do you really want to talk to someone who thinks its funny to joke about pedophilia and other horrible acts?? I dont think so.

Well, the post has been deleted and I'm sorry I saw the post this member made. I asked him to remove it and he did out of respect for me but the other members said, "if you are offended by the joke, then get the fuck out" or something like that, so I left the board for a couple of weeks. I say Conrad because he has a different alias, hate to expose genuinely ok people but you asked, however I am sure everyone knew that by now, it was so obvious.

I believed that any such reference to pedophilia, rape of children, or the like was not tolerated whatsoever, but I was wrong. After all, it was in a thread marked "offensive jokes, dont read", so I guess I was the asshole in the wrong. But I still dont believe it was an acceptable post and I am still pissed off about it. Just the matter that someone can take light such a horrible, horrible act that goes on in the world, and make a joke about it pisses me off so much, but nobody cared. Nobody thought there was anything wrong with it.

Mods are busy with spam we are all busy posting replies to eachother if it happens again and you feel strongly about it how bout pm a trusted member or a mod and then we can see it unfold.

Well...the thing was with this member is that he doesnt have kids and doesnt care for them nor does he care about injustices in the world or shit that real people have gone through. He saw a sick, twisted as fuck "joke" and didnt think twice before posting it, thinking it was funny. I was so disappointed because I thought he was a good human being, but I was wrong. And then the responses of the other members condoning it was just too much for me.

I guess my point being is that no matter what the members here say about not being tolerant of such and such...they really arent as decent human beings as they make themselves out to be. Talk is cheap, when it really comes down to it, you see the true colors in people.

was not and am not familiar with this situation but im sure you perhaps are taking it a little to much to hart.

You are beyond respected here and if you call foul in the right place at the right time I cant perceive why it would not be given attention

Snark, it's not worth dirtying up a 740. I've got an old Toyota Previa I use for hauling things to the dump. More than good enough for this piece of garbage and since I'm going there anyway....

This thread just has too much potential for members saying things that will accidentally get them in trouble. The topic isn't allowed in general and I truly think that the post original post was simply made to get people to flame. As such it is doing no one any good.
