Exclamation UK government to make all this illegal

Read this

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/violent-por...9.html#pUtAwaB

We have a conservative government - and the only effective "opposition" is a so-called left wing party which is a long, long way from being socially libertarian.

And why are women's groups campaigning against fictional rape porn - which make no mistake will result in criminalizing the discussion of rape fantasy, at least in the way WE discuss it?
Because like all right-wing people they are in denial about the nature of "normal" femala and male sexual psychology. They believe they have the right to be legally prescriptive about what adults should/should not be turned on by...and it can only be because they're afraid of their own desires. They''re hypocrites and immature hypocrites at that.

But make no mistake, this proposed law will be passed - just like they passed the "violent porn law" and "cartoon porn law" (2004 Criminal Justice Act, 2004 Sexual Offenses Act). Unless we take action.

a) Using social media, newspaper websites etc, in exactly the same way right-wing groups use them - pouring all our energies into campaigning AGAINST this piece of censorship, AND against those aforementioned predecessors.
b) Writing to our MP - yes, outing ourselves as fans of "extreme" porn. If they want to put a "mass criminalization of the population" plan into action (which in effect they are doing), then they need to know how much of the population they're going to criminalize.

If you cry off this, because you disapprove of some aspects of extreme (adult) porn whilst supporting others - we're stealing personal freedoms from and dealing a deadly personal insult to everyone,..including people you know. Expect reprisals.

I like how they keep mentioning child porn and fictional rape porn under the same breathe.

It's laughably obvious how desperate they are when they do this and exposes how flimsy their argument for banning rape fantasy is. "Just mention child porn and we don't need to explain why."

Also touched on in this thread.

Everybody seems to be running in hysterical circles about this impending legislation. They can't prosecute you for being online. They can only prosecute you for OWNING rape porn.

That's easy. Don't download it.

That's true of most things. They can't prosecute people for clicking a mouse. Plus, discovering the 20 idiots who are distributing things like CP is a relatively easy undertaking in contrast to trying to track down all 257,568 people who clicked on a movie link at RapeTube. The manpower simply does not exist. It's the same thing with everyone who is aghast at the government having access to phone records and emails. There are simply not enough people on this earth to keep track of what 300 million Americans are writing to each other. They are interested in the 25 who are hurting people, filming and distributing it...not the 100 million who just want something out of the ordinary to stroke to.

Technically it would be feasible for them to block access to sites like this, the courts here have the power and the ISP's the abilities to block torrent and download sites, so all they would need to do is pass legislation that would allow the courts to the do the same to any sites reported as 'undesirable' by the Internet Watch Foundation.

As for the discussion of rape fantasy, and the writing of stories, that would cause so many issues with the media at large that the law would probably not last more than a court case, I mean how many stories and books which have rape in the storyline and are available in your local bookshop, are they going to be banned as well?

At the moment they are talking about having the companies block searches with specific terms, with a warning and a redirect for anyone who tries, though if it is like some of the material filters out there, such as the legendary one which does not like any sexual words, so forget searching for directions to Essex, Sussex and Cockfosters, and like the one on the Now and Next guide on cable a few months ago which had been set wrong, and so the Will Smith movie Hancock found itself being called Han***k.

And when these ideas have been mooted in the past, there was one other concern, which was whether the danger of it accidentally blocking searches by people looking for help and support after being sexually abused, especially in the case of children being abused by parents, would actually outweigh the benefits of the ban, let’s be honest if abusers are able to know who to share with and who is not likeminded, I am sure they will find a way around the ban.

Reprisals from who?

While part of me would agree with the basic idea behind this, in reality how many people would put their head above the parapet and say 'heh world I fantasize about raping your wife'. Uhm, some, but not many, I know I won't and you are naive to expect people to do otherwise.

If this is like most laws, it will pass then to be honest exist more in the breach than the observance...

So what's the actual reason for fictional/fake roleplaying being illegal, apart from "because we don't like it"? No studies or nothing?

Also streaming rape porn would be illegal as much as streaming child porn since they would be "illegal porn".

They can make it illegal until they are blue in the face but they can't stop it nor even prosecute people who enjoy it. Child porn has been illegal since the beginning of time but within two minutes I could give you links to fifty sites with underage models or even small children.

Down in the Rowdy Room there's a thread about politicians in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the US trying to make blowjobs illegal. This will new legislation will have the same effect.

As I was leaving to go and visit my mum I caught an interview with the police's head of child protection, basically the officers who go after the online nonces. His reaction, won't make any difference as they are using what is being termed the dark web and not services such as Google to find and share these images.

As I say, it'll be a law which will exist more in the breach than the observance, while I don't really download the videos anyway, and what I do are in the grey area of mainstream movies anyway, much better build up to the action IMHO, I will still visit this site, so you poor bastards will have to put up with my shit a little longer ha ha

Having just watched an interview with the PM, and considering his track records on U-turns, I have this funny feeling that the law will not actually happen...

You at least have understood the nature of the threat we face - but you still underestimate it!

Every library has a search filter imposed on adult computers which blocks so-called "tasteless" sites (e.g anything in the ratemypoo tradition!) and blocks offensive language (e.g the word "shit").

And THIS is what's going to be not just compulsorily imposed upon home owners, but also - and this is far more important -

INTERNET CAFES and
WI-FI AREAS

Sites which mix sex talk with serious academic discussion of sex/fetish issues like Experience Project and ZityBiz will also be blocked. (They already are - in certain cafes/certain areas).

There are MILLIONS of adults who either can't afford a home computer or who choose not to own one for sensible personal-security reasons. They are being, in effect, slandered, abused and robbed by this legislation!

Aside from the insult to every adult's intelligence inherent in this - WHY the fuck SHOULDN'T an adult be able to view porn (yes, even "rape porn") in an internet cafe? So long as they use a bit of basic discretion - re:window size and deleting their search history and anything they may have downloaded - no harm has been done!

So - my question remains to each one of you -
what the fiffying twat are YOU going to do about it?! If you don't organize/participate in protests against it, today, you yourself are become an enemy of freedom of thought. I.e Something worse than a moral failure - d'you nagdering GET THAT?!!

If you have to ask why shouldn't people view something in public whose essential purpose is for wanking to, than you are a very silly little left wing person aren't

for the same reason that sex acts are usually done in private.... I would think that viewing sex acts on the internet.... is best kept private. When done in public, like the library, or cafes, its not unreasonable that children, (and prudes' who don't want to see it) will see it.

I think that only strengthens the case for Gov't, and ppl who would abolish sites like this.

I don't care if someone can't afford internet at home and can't wank off to there fav site. Its not like ppl who can't afford 18 yr old scotch at home get to go out and enjoy it for free at the cafe.... No. They go without.

I don't think its a conspiracy theory though. I took me about 4 yrs to finally "get" this site and actively participate. I think a lot of people would support a ban on certain types of porn, and sites like this. I sit on the fence a little at times myself, as I can see where rape porn would fuel some peoples misbehavior.

I'm not saying that rape porn is the cause of bad behavior.... and I'm not saying that bad behavior will go away if sites like this, or rape porn were removed from the net. Its like anything else. There are mature adults who know the difference between reality and fantasy.... and there are idiots.

That all being said..... looking at the British Govt's history of dictating what is morally right and wrong to its subjects.... yeah. Good luck with that.
