What pissed me off today? A whole raft of things.

1. Having a birthday so close to the holidays that most people are partied out and nobody gives a shit.

2. Having a birthday during flu season so that the person you live with spends the day in bed groaning... by himself.

3. Actually expecting this birthday to be any different from all other other fucking birthdays and getting grumpy about it.

Oh yeah I always loved having a December birthday because everyone seems to have the same logic " Well Christmas is just a couple weeks away so I'll just get something small crappy and cheap for the kid because Christmas is right around the corner" same asshat relative a couple weeks later " Well he just had a birthday a couple weeks ago so I'll just get his something small crappy and cheap" Then you grow up and it carries over to adult friends. Truckers .. the white collar dipshits who won't fire them because they are scared to look for more and ..truckers (FYI I am a truck mechanic therefore truckers are my natural nemesis , kind of like small furry animals and busy roads.. sure you might not get blindsided and squished but don't bet your ass on it)

That does seem a little extreme... But just a little.

I understand the urge. Not much pisses me off more than paying an exorbitant amount of money to see a movie in a cinema and have some idiot(s) who are SO important that they have to leave their cellphone on - complete with some ridiculous ringtone - throughout the movie.

I am in favor of having "no reception zones" inside theatres and cinemas.
