I'm up on high ground in South Tamworth, high enough that I actually didn't know about the flooding until I caught the news feed a moment ago.

sorry to hear about your city Trill, as someone who knew a lot of people affected by Katrina, i can only hope for your town that you got something better than FEMA to help you out.

Good luck man, and if you get a chance, volunteer to help, i know all of us get busy with life, but, i didn't volunteer for Katrina and i look back on it as a missed opportunity to take a few days out of my life and give a hand to people who needed it, and it is something i'll regret for a while.

Good luck going forward man.

PS, the biggest lesson i learned from hurricanes in LA was not to pay too much attention to the media, sensationalization sells.

Oh, don't worry, the SES are pretty competent.
