I was maybe 100 metres away when my one of the buses I could take came. I looked as it went past and she was there sitting by the window. I tried to see if she was looking but she wasn't. Damn I think that may be the closest I've ever come to love.

Snale, two questions:
1) I've heard that if you speak French with a British accent french girls find it sexy. Would you know if that is true.
2) Would my love of Stade Tolousian be in any way a help with French women, you know maybe a conversation starter.

First, I really don't think French hate the Britts nor than the Britts hate the French. I've been to England and got along very well with people in pubs....they knew I was French and really did not give a shit about it. But that was London. London has so many foreigners maybe they're used to it. Honestly, if someone out of London hate the French because of some history that happened centuries ago, they really need to change their minds.

I would say England has an attractive power on France. This country has been so incredibly creative musically speacking as well as with the fashion, movies, etc .. ... the three majors musical discoveries of the last centuries definitely came from the states, I mean, Blues, Jazz & Rock'N'Roll, but after that, look at all England made up : Pop Rock, Punk Rock, Hard Rock, Ska, Cold Wave, New Wave, House Music.....amazing.

So in answer to your first question yes I think girls would find sexy a men trying to come up with some French in an English accent. The English language deeply influenced French language. We have English words since ages we don't even notice anymore : Parking, Week-Ends......A brit coming to a French girl will raise her attention because it gives her the opportunity to work her English, and, if she sees you're a little embarassed she might find it cute. I've heard some girl like the expression of embarassment on a man face. As long as you don't get too shy.

As for your second question, I'm not sure so many girls are into sport. When a big big event occurs and they put giant screens in the streets and everybody sing loud and drink beer then yeah, some girls will stick around, but when it gets technical, well, I'm not sure they will follow the conversation. Well anyway, the best I could tell you is don't worry about those legends 'britts hate french - french hate german' blah blah blah. It sounds like bullshit to me. A lot of people are smart enough to take you as you are and don't care where you come from as long as there is mutual respect. Hey man, that was always something I thought was more on the French side, I so glad that I was wrong. Of course we are pretty cool to French, or any other foreign people, here. Here in my town there are some xenophobic people but they are very much in the minority I'm glad to say. You are absolutely right, anyone that thinks like that is in serious need of re-education.

Sadly I have to much work on with my studies to accept your generous offer, I have to post on here in the early hours of the morning since I'm so busy during the rest of the day haha. It would be cool to travel to France, I've never been despite being so close. The only travel I have planned is to the U.S.A in about 7 months time, and even that might not happen.
