Sleeping rough (Lucifer_L and ingenue) - Rape Board

I never knew I had the power to become invisible. If I had known that, I wouldn't have needed to run away. Turns out all you need to do is sleep on the streets for a couple of nights and nobody will notice you.

I had to run. I had to get away from him. Nobody understood the danger I was in, and when I tried to tell them, they.. they thought I was jealous or making trouble.. no, I have no idea what they thought.

I never knew I could so easily become a liar and a trouble maker. Turns out all you need to do is ask a couple of trusted family members and friends for help and nobody will believe you. So I ran.

The first morning I woke up without my little bag of spare clothes, that were rolled up around the grand prize of $10. Did another homeless person steal it? I never thought that was possible. We're all in the same situation and all I feel for the others is sympathy. How could someone be so cruel?

I must think positive. At least I still have my locket around my neck, containing a picture of my mom. I hope she isn't too worried about me. I miss her so much.

I managed to beg enough spare change for a bus ticket. The driver glared at me like I was going to smash up his bus or something. How could I hurt anyone? A small, frightened, lonely girl in dirty clothes, dirt and dried tears streaking my face, I'm hardly the most convincing bus robber.

The other passengers lean away from me as I pass, giving me filthy glares. I'm sorry! I know I must smell bad by now. I can't change that. Don't hate me. No, I'm not going to spoil your ride by asking for money. See, I can be good and not bother anybody.

I curl up on a seat in an empty area near the back. Exhausted down to my bones, and lulled by the movement and the soft seat, a welcome change from cold doorways, I almost immediately fall asleep.

I was siting in a bus, tired, after a hard day of work. Then I suddenly noticed a dirty little homeless girl sleeping right infront of me. At the beginning I tried to ignore her, but after a few minutes, I started staring at her more and more.
It's been 3 months since my girl friend dumped me, and I was really horney.
I thought to myself "Damn, she looks like she doesn't know anyone here, and if I would take her to my place, and have some fun, no one would even notice, I mean, what will she do? Tell the police? Of course not, no one is going to believe her." I steped up from my seat and walked towards the girl. Extended my hand and poked her twice. "Hey, are you okay?" I said with a wide smile on my face.

I stir and take a second or two to remember where I am. Then I sit bolt upright.

"Did-did I do something wrong? Do I have to leave? I have a ticket," I say, showing him.

I look at the girl and laugh slightly. "No, you didn't do anything wrong, I was just wondering are you okay?" I say in a polite tone.

"Oh.." I'm not sure how to answer that. "Not really.. I'm all alone and I have nowhere to go. I had to leave home." No, I am sure he doesn't want to hear all my troubles, I guess he is just being polite. Seems like a nice guy. "I won't rob you or anything," I reassure him.

"Really? You'd do that?" I gasp. I can't conceal an expression of desperate hope. Please don't let him be mocking me.. I've been so close to losing hope. I eye the man nervously, longingly.

I follow at high speed. I don't believe my luck.

The looks some of the other travelers give us make me lower my head in shame. I guess it doesn't do your image any good to have a dirty homeless girl following you areound like a puppy. Maybe they think I'll try to steal from you or trick you out of money.

He's offering me his arm. I can't believe he would want to touch me.. it's been so long since anyone held me that I can't resist moving closer and letting him put his arm round me. I stop just short of resting my head on his shoulder. My hair, pulled back in a dirty ponytail, is none too nice to the touch.

"It seems like I'm going to have some fun tonight" I thought to myself as I walked out of the bus with the dirty little girl by my side. It took us about 10 minutes untill we were standing infront of an big house,, made out of bricks and surrounded by a green fence.
"So here we are" I said to the girl in a plesent tone and a big smile on my face.

"You live here? It's so big!" I gasp, then look embarrassed at your amused grin. Not guessing the cause was the unintentional suggestive meaning of my words. I explain "I.. my home is.. was a lot smaller. Where I grew up."

There, I went and reminded myself of home again. I'd promised myself I wouldn't do that.

I followed, still awed by the lovely place. I made sure to stay close to my rescuer, half unconsciously afraid he would disappear.

"Are you married? Living with somebody?" I suddenly asked as he reached for the lock.

I kept following closely. I wasn't totally reassured by the thought of being alone with a guy - not that I distrusted him, just that it wasn't somethiing I would normally do.

Another woman in the house would be reassuring, unless of course she wouldn't want me there and ordered me to leave. I guess I wouldn't blame her. Anyway, No need to worry about it. I didn't exactly have a lot of options.

After two minutes we were right infront of my house door, I took out a small gold color key from my left pocket and unlocked the door, pushed it open and said, "Here we are". I steped away from the door leting the homeless girl in.

I put my fears to one side and entered his house. It was reassuringly normal, a proper home; unmistakeably lived in.

"Do.. do you think I could take a shower?" I asked, toying with my dirty, matted hair. I felt like I was dirtying the carpet by just standing on it.
