Fucking Iphone - Rape Board

Has someone managed to download Ios 7 on a Iphone 4 ?
I was gonna do it yesterday but I thought "let's read some reactions in dedicated forums first"and I see so many people complaining about various bugs I've decided to stay in Ios 6.

The Iphone 5s is about to come up on the market, they say it's got a digital print recognition system so only your index fingerprint can unlock the device.........

it seems to me since Steve Job has passed away Apple has a hard time finding interesting ideas for their phones and tablets.......I'm glad I've sticked with my Iphone 4.....the battery don't empty in half an hour and it doesn't overheat.

I just updated from a 3 to a 5 (they are on sale here for very cheap, trying to clear out the inventory) and rather like the upgrade. I like the bigger screen and faster processor. I use my phone for work and am on it all day long sending stuff back and forth (documents and pictures) so the faster speed makes a difference.

I'm with you on the IOS 7. I'll wait until they sort the kinks out before I make the switch. I don't see the point of doing their testing for them and the bugs they are referring to might result in my iPhone resting on the bottom of San Francisco Bay.

I still have my 4s. Very few new gadgets do much for me, and I'd rather keep my money than have the latest technology that will promptly go out of date.

I think I will stick to my droid for now, I like the idea of owning an iPhone, just not the cost of getting a decent spec one

I have a 32gb 4s, Pete. Of all the smart phones I've tried, iPhone is the most user friendly, the 4s is pretty good. I probably wouldn't get much for mine as a while back I got egg yolk in the earpiece so now have to make calls with the speaker on! My Nephew just sold his for £200. When the 5s comes out, you'll probably be able to get a brand new 4s for less than that.

Ah, but my Samsumg S3 mini cost me nowt on a 24 month contract, for about £20pm, so I think I will stick to that.

And its as much the cost of the actual plans which get me, on my droid I have 600 minutes, about 500 texts, 120 minutes free calls to the US and Canada, all with unlimited data. I looked into getting a new iPhone, the most affordable deal I saw was the 16gb 4s, about half the minutes and text, with the same data for about £36, plus an extra £5 to get the 120 US minutes, working out double what I was paying. So I just upgraded to a newer droid

I do think that most apple products are a little pricey for the spec you get, the one exception I have found is the iPod classic, at about £200 for 160gb that is pretty good value compared to other mp3 players, who at around half the price only tend to have a quarter of the capacity.

I'm tempted to get an iPad though, though it will probably be second hand as I only need it for a few things, not for the full out and out browser experience. I've been using a touchscreen phone for about three years now, and I still can't stand typing much on them.

I did think about that, but the pure cost of the phone makes it impossible, even a second hand one is out of my price range at the moment...

To be honest, it won't be until next year when I look seriously, and then it will be either a tablet version of my phone, one of those new laptops that can also be used as tablet, or an iPad, it all depends on how much money I have and what suits my needs.

Cheap is very cheap. Phantom and I both upgraded and each paid a dollar for the phones with a contract extension (we were at the end of a 2-year contract). Otherwise I would have stayed with my old phone. I don't use it much for anything other than a phone or for texting/email so it would make no sense for me to pay hundreds to upgrade. Phantom actually uses the features of his phone so it makes more sense for him and when these deals came up it was too good to pass up.

I use Adobe quite often to read drawings for work, and to keep manuals on my phone as work equipment regulations often require having a copy of the manual with you when using. Easier than trying to keep a paper copy dry in the rain. My iPhone is also my only means of internet access, and the Android phones I've tried are just shit at internet.

The Samsung Note has a pretty tasty huge screen compared to the Iphone

But I'm not sure about the processor, does it all run smoothly like an Apple product or does it lag....Are the applications well done ?......This big screen is nice for typing....i kinda have a hard time to type with the Iphone, some people find it easier by holding the Iphone on its lateral position......
