I did read something once about gang initiations. Blood in, Blood out. The idea is that if a guy wants to join a gang he has to go and kill someone and his only way out of the gang after that is to be killed.

Leaving the grocery store this evening I had an odd moment. I'd parked by the pharmacy when I came in because that entrance isn't generally as busy as the other.
