Goodbyee - Rape Board

There are too many arseholes here, too many people who think that because they have high rep, or have been here awhile they, or their friends, can do what they like, neg rep who they like, and are untouchable.

These poeple have ruined the site, they have chased off a good, hard working mod, and some good, no, great members.

I can feel myself becoming one of them, my posts have gone from reasoned to foul mouther, these are not going to solve the problems, these will add to the problem, so I have taken the decision to go, before I become such an arsehole that I get a ban.

I thank everybody here for their friendship, their patience and their support over the last six or seven months.

Pete,

I left a while back because of people on the board but found out that when we allow others to keep us away, we empower them and make it more difficult for the others.

Never let them win!

Its getting out of hand now everyone. I think if someone took the time to post a list of the people that have left the board recently then the sheer volume of names might just shock everyone into seing what the real problems are here.

Pete, you're too good a bloke to lose so I'm asking you to take a deep breath, sleep on it and come back to posting real soon

With over 3,000 posts it is understandable that someone may disagree sooner or later...

Unwind somewhere for a bit...

Then maybe come on back and see if this is a place in which you may relax and unwind once again.

I disagree with most of what you have to say but thats what makes a board a good one.People with difference of opinion.

Pete,I was about to leave for a while as well but you know what,it just propagates dis contention with a board that really needs it's good members right now.I'm not trying to say that I'm a good member but I have seen you try to improve things on here like I have...don't give up now just as RB is almost on an upturn! Just wanted to support what Jasmine and Fibonacci said. The nastiness is due to a small number of troublemakers and the moderators have already started weeding them out. Things will get back to normal. I hope the people that have left / are leaving will at least keep an eye on the board and come back then.

An Explaination

I have not left because of others bullying, it is my reaction to that bullying that worries me.

I consider myself a reasonable person, everybody who have read my posts knows that, unlike some here, I know when to walk away from an argumant, it's called dignity, some, and you know who I am talking too, this time you are not being paranoid, should try it. You never know, it may make you feel more of a man then bullying others does.

But when I lose my temper to the point of calling someone an arsehole, and helping to damage the thread it is time to leave. I should not have done that, thought, wrote it somewhere else maybe. Destroy Phantoms thread, a thread whose sole purpose is for us to help him..NO I SHOULD NOT. I do not ask Phantoms forgiveness for that, I do not deserve it. I do not ask the forgiveness of all those members you have had to read it, I do not deserve that either.

However I stand by what I said,

I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY WITH LUCY

I am only sorry that I did not state this sooner, maybe she would be less stressed and in a happier place, again something which is beyond forgiveness

Goodbye to all my true friends, I hope you have fun and hope that the board gets better before it's too late.

And no Dark One I will not be back in a week, I have only come back to explain properly
