Mosques, unlike C of E and Catholic churches, are in the main community run and funded organisations. There is no official hierarchy in Islam, as there is in much of Christianity. Imams are often self-appointed, there is no real governance. I like that sort of thing myself, grass roots organisation. Mosques are very much a reflection of the communities they serve. So be it. If preaching hatred is tolerated by that community, then let that community be punished. Take away what they have created. Or let them govern what they have created properly.
