Anyone else other than Sweet Mrs Rotter like to cook ????

I do for example

2 lbs chicken cut in inch by inch cubes

2 lbs smoked sausage

white onions or red if you prefer

parsley

2 cups long grain white rice or whatever you like rice wize

garlic and some cyan pepper or other hot sauce

one half to one quarter cup bell pepper

whats that make its up to you but ask and perhaps Ill share

i enjoy cooking but i mainly cook sea food and lots of freshwater fish and crawfish

If I did not like MR rotter

hmm rubs my tummy wow a new fantasy

fival its a jambalia and the brillance of it all is you can use seafood or anyother two meats

its best when they contrast eachother

I also make this with shimp and sausage with a tomato base

Ill have to check my notes and spend a little time thinking about Mrs Rotters tummy then Ill expand here

When I'm in the mood I do, not very good at anything fancy, just basic brit dishes, roasts, toad-in-the-hole, stews that sort of thing.

In a large pot start off heating a half cup of oil

any kind you like except motor oil

when hot on medium heat add the chicken and brown it

remove the chicken add the onion parsley and bell pepper

simmer until the onions are clear then add the chicken back the sausage 8 cups of chicken stock or water garlic and rice

simmer until the liquid is almost gone and you have a bit of a commingled combo of all of the above

reduce the heat to your lowest setting cover the pot and let cook for at least one hour or until the rice is done

experiment with the portions and contents as I do

If you have never had jambalaya you will like it

i prefer to cook up shrimp in a scampi or take the time and cook up coconut shrimp,

i realy enjoy cooking a nice salmon filey or if and when i can afford it(like twice a year) ill cook up a nice lil tib bit of lobster of alaskin king crab i dont like snow its just to much of a pain when it comes to shelling em if your gonna put the meat in somthin else,

i realy love deep frying up som catfish and a nice crawfish boil now thats tasty and CHEAP hahha

and lol btw my pops cooks jambalia all the time with somthin different ever time lol now that man can cook lol

ya like im a fishing fool and i eat what i cetch so if i go out and bring home a nice 5 pound bass his ass is gonna get deep pitted with onions and carets and potatos and celery and mmm scrumtiois of if i get a cupple trout ill filey them and fry'em or every now and then BBQ'em with lemon and a lil spice thats not bad either but while im out fishing i tend to take my crawfish trap and bait it and toss it out while im fishin and then when im ready to head home ill pull it in and if im lucky ill have anywhere from 30 to 100 and ill call som the boys up tell'em "bring the beer i got the food" and its dinner time =]]
