What in you country has become so expansive that you decided not to go/buy anymore?

As for me, no more movies theaters. It's 8,50 Euros = 6,424 English Sterlings!
Plus you never know if the movie's gonna be good, and I always end up with a dumbass eating pop-corn next to me.

I also don't go to restaurants anymore, they always make you feel like the faster you finish you food, the better it is cause you can leave the table for the next client.

Life becomes really expensive. I'm impressed by you Uk guys, your rent are so high you have to share rooms together and that's something I could never do koz I'm a bad ass when it comes to live together. How can you do that !

bars, especially NO bars, haven't been to one in about a year, used to go about once a week, but at 50-100 dollars a pop, just can't do it anymore.

yeah, I also avoid bars cause one beer so easily pushes me to drink 5.
So I'm saving money, but don't you find it a bit sad not to see people ?

I think your lifestyle with saving money isn't a bad thing. I agree; going out to restaurants and going to beer can really empty someone's wallet and you've taken steps to avoid that. Good for you!

It's better to make home-made stuff and cook it - it's cheaper and you could argue it's also healthier too. Not to mention, you can bring a lady home and you can cook it for them

But I don't know how to cook yet - I just have a roommate who brings "home" a girl almost every single day

Movies are my passion. I love them, I have to admit. I don't think i could ever give up going to the theater to see a flick. there is jsut something awesome about sitting in the dark, in an air conditioned theater watching a summer blockbuster play itself out in front of you eating your popcorn while the french guy next to you thinks you a dumbass for eating your popcorn... its greeat

Driving is becoming a Hassle for me. I know Gas prices are much higher in other parts of the world but I have definitley found myself decreasing the amoutn of time I spend out and about, mainly due to the cost of getting around. It hurst me every time I go to the gas pump.

Sounds like you need to become a biker. Much easier to slalom through the traffic, it sucks less oil, you can park it anywhere for FREE, and it makes you look good.

In my town we have a bike race every year. its called the "Tour De Tucson".. From what I hear.. its a pretty widley known race in the bicicle community. I bring that up to bring this up..

People are here training for it just about all year round... there are tons of bikers in this community.. and the thing is.. a great deal of the drivers HATE them..

I have seen people damn near run a biker over on more occasions than I can count. i have seen them honk their horn as they pass by.. trying to freak the biker out and knock them off the street.

Being a biker in my town is.. to say the least.. not entirley safe
